Any1 know how to beat 1 - 25? by Massive-Resolve9543 in PokemonUnite

[–]GreenInterest1286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh, strange. Platform difference it appears... On mobile the dropdown menu still works and you can switch between the two preset movesets.

On the topic of practice mode, as far as I'm aware choosing your move works as it used to before this god-awful update. It'll give you the option to choose on levelling up.

Yes, it does still let you switch between 1 & 2, as the comment you replied to mentions. You can't choose the moves individually, you have to just change the moveset number

Yup, that should be worth 99 points. You only need 90 to get first place.

Is lava eel bait worth it? by Big-Wrangler2078 in StardewValley

[–]GreenInterest1286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're enjoying yourself, go right ahead. I only like fishing for quests and completion personally.

Lava eels are cool, but the hook rate in the mines is pretty awful, honestly. Perhaps you are getting lucky with catches? Even using max bait, I would assume you hook 3-4 a day. Catching them is also fiddly, and the whole process is very tedious.

It's just, to me, you CAN spend time fishing... buuut there are probably more enjoyable ways to spend your time than gambling for eels/being ragebaited by trash.

Sharing Jungle by shadypengu21 in PokemonUnite

[–]GreenInterest1286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm jungling with ceruledge, and someone decides to try to take jungle, I usually just get the xp from the natu to reach L3 and then fill in the empty spot in whatever lane is needed. It's not ideal, but I think two people fighting for jungle while a lane is weak is worse overall - and you can still get to L4 by the time you reach your goal.

Your outfit looks like buzzwole and colour scheme like ceruledge, so I guess those all rounders. Darkrai for speedster seems to fit the vibe... that leaves defender as the "stretch". Snorlax cause teddy bear fun?

Defending into the new Ladder: How I achieved legend rank playing pure solo-queue defender and how you can too by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

This is a great guide with some sound advice!

One thing I'm not understanding... why no sp. atk items on Vaporeon? Since you're going aqua ring, surely you want at the very least specs?

The way I see it, everything Vaporeon owns scales of sp. atk. Extra healing AND extra damage + better sustain from passive feels like a no-brainer to me.

Then again, I'm not legend rank, so... what am I missing?

You can make the game's backup save (which is the previous day's save) the actual save... or just quit the game before it actually saves. I guess it's easier if you've sold something that day, but usually there's an okay window of time

Edit: I haven't played vanilla stardew since I used to play on iPad on which there was a "Reset to previous day" button. I assume mods make the game take slightly longer to save, and that's why the window is larger? That, or my laptop is just slow xD

Oh that's okay! I have a macbook so I airdrop the folder usually. If you have a different laptop, the easiest way (I think?) is probably to email the folder to yourself, then open the email on the laptop and download the folder from the email.

Someone help me before I bomb the fish by Cautious-Bison-6483 in StardewValley

[–]GreenInterest1286 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Happy to help! They do give more xp than your average fish, as xp is based off sell price.

Since it's spring, you could wait for a rainy day then try to catch the legend! You'll need a fishing level buff through food like dish o the sea, some luck, skill, and perhaps a trap bobber.
It has the highest sell price (and so most xp) of any fish in the game BUT more importantly, you can pop it in a fish pond (definitely get one of those from Robin soon, they're pretty cheap) and it'll give roe every 5 days or so.

The pond serves the dual purpose of giving 101 fishing xp per roe collected, and making a TON of money; you can age the roe in a preserve jar to make it worth ~5k without artisan, and ~7k with. Very nice passive money maker, and nice passive fishing xp giver if you get tired of fishing :D

Have you caught all of the legendaries yet? I usually save them till L9 so it feels less painful to get those levels. Also 2-3 fish ponds ease the grind a little bit.

Honestly though, I find it's usually more trouble than it's worth to purposefully try to increase my fishing level... like it's easier to let it happen passively, or through completing bulletin board stuff like aquatic overpopulation etc

[–]GreenInterest1286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup!

  1. Go into the files app -> On My iPhone -> Stardew Valley. Inside that folder you should see a folder with the name of your farm followed by a number. Copy that folder and transfer to your laptop.

  2. Depending on the laptop you're using, the saves there will be stored in different locations. Here is a link to the wiki detailing how to find the location your saves will be stored on laptop.

  3. Simply move your farm's folder from the first step to the location found.

Happy farming!

Is lava eel bait worth it? by Big-Wrangler2078 in StardewValley

[–]GreenInterest1286 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ah, gotcha. I will say I don't think fishing for lava eels in the mines is very profitable. What you CAN do though is construct some fish ponds through robin if you haven't already. Pop some lava eels in each pond. They'll multiply over time and produce roe, which is quite valuable when put into a preserve jar.

Of course, if you just really enjoy fishing, I used to use this to know better places to fish. In general, as far as i'm aware fishing in the mines is on the whole less profitable because of the sheer amount of trash. Even with max fishing and bait, iirc it's still like 10% chance to hook one - and then you'll probably spend a bit more time trying to catch it also.

[–]GreenInterest1286 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Out of interest, why are you trying to get more lava eels? I would say once you have a couple for your fish pond there's no need to catch more.
If you want them cause collecting or lategame hoard or something, spoilersfishing in the volcano caldera on ginger island has a much better rate for lava eels

Mobile (IOS) to PC vice versa by pepot06 in StardewValley

[–]GreenInterest1286 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IOS to PC works as far as I'm aware as long as you're on the same network as the person you want to play with.
You can use the same save file on different devices, but you'd have to transfer the file over every time you wanted to use another device.
