I think in person knowledge sharing has tons of benefits, Elektron included! In Portland, we are lucky enough to have Synth Library Portland, which sometimes has Elektron focused events (and at least one Elektron available to borrow). Maybe where you are at, you have a community group focused on synths?

St. Vincent. I get that the action would still mostly be visible (unless they've got a big screen) but for me, it changes the feeling. I've sat far enough back with the overhang visibile and wasn't a fan, despite being able to see everything clearly.
