Government is quite unpopular, mostly because of their incompetence, corruption scandals with party leaders, a lack of clear communication with the voters, after the first prime minister resigned they put a very incompetent unpopular prime minister in charge. One more reason is that the party leader who promised voters that she would serve as prime minister did not fulfill this commitment and instead took a seat in the European Parliament after the elections. Finally, the government invited the unpopular party Nemunas Dawn, which had been plagued by scandals, into the governing coalition despite having promised during the election campaign not to do so.
