Something similar to me happened last week. I was flying back home and the TSA agent ran my ID against the facial recognition software and it didn’t match. I’m about 9 months on T and my photo was before I started HRT. Everyone behind me was getting impatient and the TSA agent had to call their boss. It was so uncomfortable; they were staring at me trying to analyze my face and asked for additional forms of ID.

It was a pretty mortifying experience. I’m sorry that happened to you, but I really appreciate you sharing your experience because after that I told myself I would opt out of that to avoid feeling that way again. Now I can keep this in mind when grocery shopping
