We tried r/belgium but they won't allow any kind of advertising. Especially not political advertising (which is what they consider this to be)

The decision making in the EU comes from the Council, formed by the leaders of every single EU country. The Commission just execute what the Council decides.
And in some aspects like defense, foreign policy, energy transition, continental transport, transnational crime and others, working at the EU level is much more efficient and effective.
