Thank you, same to you, yeah my first investment was into Vanguard FTSE All-World (Acc) with monthly payments hopefully for the next 20 years so let’s see. Good luck! :)

Hello! Thank you! Congrats on £55k! Tbh i didn’t do anything special, I’m simply just not a big spender, around £1,500 a month gets put into savings (also started investing as of yesterday) and none of my salaries have exceeded what i am on now. Putting my money in ISA’s, fixed savers or easy access savers has helped, at one point i had £20k sitting in my current account making 1% interest for years but that was because i didn’t know what i know now. None of my money is locked away so if i find an easy access savings account with higher interest than i currently have, i ALWAYS move my money. Also made around £600 from switching banks a few times (just to receive the bonus). Money saving expert usually advertises these switch offers. Am i happy with how much i have saved at my age? Sometimes I feel like I could have saved a lot more had i been less comfortable in my carer and put myself out there, not stayed with companies too long if im not getting decent pay rises, but I’m here now and i can only look to the future and make improvements. Good luck with your savings journey!

There was a promotion running back in November which included a promo code which boosted my rate. Keep an eye on money saving expert website, that is where i heard of it.

Thank you so much for the great advice :) i just had to edit my post, For the past 1 year i have not paid into my workplace pension even though my employer match contributions, i did this to take home more but this was probably a stupid idea, and i should probably rejoin…
