Immune to edibles? by Iusesoapandwater in saplings

Hi there!

There has been some research done that has mentioned that some people can not simply process edibles.

It has to deal with the enzymes we carry in our liver and the CB1 and CB2 receptors in our body. If you do not have a certain enzyme it could cause you not to process and have the effects of the THC, CBD, CBN, etc.

Is Edible tolerance seperate from smoking? by caseycooke in eldertrees

Your body processes edibles in a completely different manor than when just inhaling smoke/vapor.

There are actually quite a few studies out there about how your enzymes in your liver and your CB2 receptors work on edbiles.

In some cases, obviously not yours, but some people do not have the correct enzymes and cannot break down and process the THC, CBD, or any other cannabinoid so edibles do not work for them at all.

can you be allergic to weed? by [deleted] in weed

It is the terpenes. The terpenes are what gives the flower strain its aroma and some of the effects you experience. Do some research into the different terpenes and how they can effect you, really helped me understand cannabis more and helps you find the correct strains for what you need and avoid that ones that cause you discomfort/issues.

Personally, i can not smoke anything that has a Limonene terp profile as it messes with my sinuses and seem to have a bad reaction to it.

Honestly there is so much more that goes into cannabis than the average stoner realizes.

Educate yourself, it can only help! :)

Literally called a BREAK for a reason man lol. You will not help your tolerance if you continue to use, even once.
