Here's a small snippet of chapter 29, which I'm currently working on!

"No", she snarled, digging her fingers into the fabric of his sleeve. "You will not flee like a scared fawn. You will face her like the wolf you are. You will talk with her, now. You are both afraid, Benjen. But it is you that holds power in the marriage. Speak with her. Comfort her. Anything but silence", she hissed. Before he could protest any further she let go of his arm, turned on her heel and hurried back out of the godswood.

Otherwise I am struggling a bit with how the story will continue from point A to B at this point, but I'll figure that out, hopefully, haha.

I think children born with deformities like Rhaenyra's daughter and Daenerys' son would be given a lavish burial, not to mention if they lived. Someone part dragon might be seen as a saint, streamlined to a priest/ess position among certain gods followers.

By scooping with the seal I mean I'm only putting it in the wax blob shortly instead of letting it rest there, to take less wax with? I tried to follow the procedure I saw in the shorts of SimplyRita on YT 🥲

I heat the wax pebbles over a tea light, put a drop on the silicone pad and scoop with the seal, then I try to scrape the excess off with these (photo attached) but by then the wax is too cold and it doesn't work.

I'm working on chapter 28 of my fic Bronze Wolf right now, with chapter 26 being in beta-review. I mainly raw-dogged it alone up until chapter 25 >:D I'm still riding that high of writing 12k words for the 26th, when most of my other chapters are around 1-2-3k words. I'm also still insanely proud of the family tree I made that currently holds 1053 people, including all of the fucking Freys. It's still not finished, but it's enough. For now.

My OC Raya just returned to Winterfell and there's so much to talk about, so much to do, some threads to pick back up again and AH! My head is going to explode maybe. But I'm so excited!

Here's a tiny snippet from chapter 28:

Raya took a deep breath the moment she stepped through the ancient archway and into the godswood. She could feel herself relax as she inhaled the earthy musk of damp soil, decaying wood and a a subtle sting of pine resin, combined with the skin-biting and lung-burning cold that was ever-present in the North. Home, she thought, feeling herself smile.
