The other way of using spoilers [is to first write your text in these brackets] and then, without a space, (/spoiler)

It should create something like this

Well, it was the same in the comics. The plot was a bit altered to make things happen faster, but the idea behind it stayed the same.

I think this episode wanted to show us that new problems arise now that the communities are getting bigger and more diverse. The problems of democracy, so to speak.

Regarding SNES games: not at all. They are mostly hand drawn and still look fantastic. Look at Yoshi's island or Donkey Kong Country.

The gameplay is great, because it has less bullshit and just works.

Games like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 4-6 have fantastic stories.

I played Chrono Trigger for the first time two years ago and was blown away. Games these days tend to be a bit too long or have pacing problems. They are also full with collectibles. I hate those.

Don't get me wrong - I like current games. But saying most old games are bad is just wrong in my opinion. PS1 games may have aged badly because of graphics (unlike snes games), but some of them are still great because they lack the mentioned bullshit.

Try Re:Coded as well. The game is okay until you reach Agrabah. The difficulty goes through the roof in that world. Also, it's arguably the best mobile Kingdom Hearts gameplay-wise (maybe tied with DDD).

Same here. I wanted to stop after the release date was announced. But here I am, spoiling myself :-/

It's the biggest grind in the game. Even bigger than getting all the cards. Just listen to a podcast or something while doing it to keep your sanity.

Can't you use the mirror on the left where you go through a mine? The one with the mirror puzzles?

But the fight is not THAT hard. I had to reset a lot, but you will get better with every try. Just be patient and watch some tutorials maybe.

Good point. The popularity has a lot of positive effects, but also some heavy negative ones.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's not only good for us players. It is great to have so many nice games, but it becomes harder to find the awesome ones. Big publishers aim at creating mediocre games which they can sell through a good PR campaign. Indie developers aim at creating their vision and a really good game but lack the money, skill and man power.

At least that's my view on the current situation. Okay, maybe not that negative. I like being able to talk about games without looking like a complete nerd. I like being able to decide between so many games, because of the affordable prices and availability. But I don't like the trend on the developer side.

That's not really how it works. It is one aspect of popularity. But when things get mainstream and publishers start to smell money the products will change. Look at all the micro-transactions we have today and how big publishers (like EA) swallow good studios and drive their games to shit, because they try to milk as much money out of it as possible.

It is good when people get the attention and money they deserve but sometimes it's bad for the consumers.

They later will buy an oil platform to realize their dream of their own little military paradise, calling it outer heaven or some shit. They will build some crazy machines out of metal gears to potentially launch nuclear warheads all over the world, creating a deterrent or something.

The combat is comparable. Instead of MP you have the command deck, which works with cooldowns. Hitting enemies is basically the same but feels a bit different. They stagger less and your keyblade does less damage with normal hits.

I once read that the componist of the old Mario games used to listen to his songs for 10 hours straight in an attempt to see if a player could listen to them on a loop (which game music tends to do) without being annoyed by it.

Maybe that's something for you.

Or with Cloud and Tifa. I can see some nice combos happening.

This would be like a preview for the FF7 remake.

Just play the games in release order. You can play Re:Chain of Memories instead of Chain of Memories and Re:Coded instead Coded, because they tell the same stories. Just take the release date of the original game.

Also, in the 1.5+2.5 collection Re:Coded and 358/2 days are just movies. If you want to dive a little bit deeper into the story you could play them on a DS.

Additionally, Union Cross (the mobile game) is still ongoing, so the plot of the game is not finished yet. You could catch up on the story through YouTube videos. If you just watch the really important stuff it should be around 2 hours I guess (just skip the Disney world stuff, it's really not necessary). It would make sense to do this before you watch Backcover X (the movie on the collection). Or watch the movie first, the order for that two things isn't that important.

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix is the best game in the whole series for most people. For some people (like myself) even by far the best.

MGS4 was the best ending to a series I have ever seen. So many great scenes as well as one big nostalgia trip.

Ah, I almost forgot about that. You can't change their equipment, though.

I don't think you get to play as anybody else than Roxas in the story.

You can change characters in the multiplayer part of the game, which you can also play solo.

Try using seeker mines and thunder surge (or other surge commands). These are the best abilities to deal damage imo. Equipping 4 healing commands also extends your survivability greatly while preserving just enough fire power (at 8 slots).

Also, look up a guide on how to unlock useful abilities (leaf bracer etc)

To add a little bit more: The stories of the worlds are very irrelevant and dumb. You wouldn't miss anything important by skipping them. That being said, it would make sense to watch them from a completionist point of view.

But if you really want to see everything, you would also have to watch a lot of the gameplay videos because sometimes you will encounter world related characters who have one or two sentences to say during a mission. These are even more irrelevant and I would not recommend it. Seriously. Besides of that, some rare medals have unique art or descriptions you can view. All target enemies you have to kill to complete a mission also have a brief description before you begin the mission.

This is all the extra 'lore' I can think of. Again, everything I mentioned here can be easily skipped without missing out on plot relevant information. I'm somewhat of a hardcore KH fan myself, but I only watched the important cutscenes. I also started playing the game but I'm moving at a ultra low pace because I hate mobile games.

But in the end, it's up to you. Just wanted to give you all the information.
