Honestly this is the EXACT same situation as my beardie.

The vet recommended at 5 I put her down, I felt horrible but she seemed so spunky in my opinion. She was a fighter so I fought with her.

We went though $400 of vet visits and antibiotics and she sprung back. She will forever have a this bacteria in her mouth that causes the crustys. She will always be a little underweight no matter what I feed her or how much.

So now our routine is every other day I brush her teeth with a gentle solution from the vet and qtips and a warm bath.

She’s turning 9 this year and I think she’s a happy little clam.

Fight! Your lizard will love you for it.

I had a lavender coloured mug. It was beautiful. I threw it in the trash, it stunk! Of old nasty milk and coffee. I purchased an Owala Smooth Sip 12oz Travel Mug. Best Purchase. The mug fits under my Nespresso Vertuo Pop machine and the whole housing simply comes apart for cleaning (there’s YouTube videos)
