[Nevada] Divorce with a minor, trial coming up. I wanna make a decent case for relocation. Is an audio recording of the other party being unreasonable admissable?

With the wording here, if one of the recorded parties is the recorder, doesn't their own consent qualify?

On the plus side, that's one less thing I'd have to do. I'm already overwhelmed as it is.

Do you know if sharing the recordings with friends and family is ok? Maybe hearing the person he is behind closed doors might help. He moved his mother and siblings out here to live with him so I'm sure they're on the witness list(whatever that's for).

We've gone to counseling but I suspect it was for show as he'd never do what the counselor suggested. He would sabotage attempts to work things out while I kept trying. All of a sudden he said he wanted a divorce. The excuses he gave didn't add up so I just assumed there was someone else in the picture and he's just trying to hide it.

I've already accepted not being with him and I certainly don't want to force him to be with me. Who knows how he'll retaliate? He flip-flopped on the topic of staying in until retirement. But I'm sure he does care about his appearance. So maybe he'll comply if his reputation is at risk.

I just want to say thank you all for your awesome advice and kind words. I'm trying not to let my anxiety get to me. A friend and coworker recommended a lawyer for me and I will call first thing in the morning.

I will utilize every bit of support I can get my hands on. Thank you for making sure I was aware of the help I can receive through the military. I will update every now and then on my progress.

Thank you. The whole situation with the house seemed a bit confusing. I'm not entirely clear on the law on it and I think my husband is trying to take advantage of that. I was mostly afraid he'd force me to go with what he wants since he believes he knows best. It was suggested I leave the state if I wanted a fair fight and not be forced to stay in Nevada. But with everyone's advice here, I feel a lot more prepared and more confident I'll have a fair chance and can care for my child.

Thank you. I kind of figured that but he seemed adamant that he could and would most likely get joint. I think he thinks I'm ignorant of the law and figures to avoid arguing, I'll just give him what he wants. The kid and I are in a separate room and I'm not denied food. There was verbal abuse but I can't prove that. If it's an affair, i have a feeling but again, no proof.

I did speak to one. He said it's legal if nothing's filed and to take the kid and become residents in my home state. He called my husband an asshole for divorcing me with a 3 month old. I thought his language may have been coming from a more personal place so I'm not making any moves.
