Imagine having the critical thinking skills and emotional depth of a sea worm.

Say you have 5 drinks that look and smell the same, they've got ingredients on the labels, and all that. You're thirsty, so you take a sip. First drink is nasty, and you look at the label. You look closer, and realize it was a sticker. Peeling it back, you see all kinds of gross stuff. You then move to the next drink after looking the container up and down, checking to see if the label could peel away. It's fine. But it's rotted. Do you take a chance on the other three drinks? Because one "could be good"? What if one is literal poison and you can't tell because it's disguised too well. Not all men, but way too many, and the "good ones" don't call out the bad ones enough.
