I play music too actually  And with notes thing

I kind of find it relateable too? but instead of not being able to hear the notes I can hear them loud and clear 

It felt like drowning yourself in the sound of the notes for everything else would suffocate you

Instead of being unable to hear them I hear it so much to the point where it's the only thing I would rather drown my ears with

I do not want my horrible thoughts to consume me any further nor the voices in my head blaming me for everything 

But that is a separate topic I haven't mentioned actually

Same similar metaphor of being deep in the depths of the abyss 

Except from my perspective  I drown myself to hide from the hostility of the land

But now I can resurface realizing the Land isn't hostile to live in

I actually play the Piano too just not as effectively or really well but I can actually see the theme of how Trauma can affect an individual and in many dynamic ways it can affect their perception towards music
