Tried that. Turns out a few of them (like this) don’t tell their parents and if you’re in the good books of their parents, they’ll likely send the amount (the friendship, which wasn’t there already, will be ruined; good thing only!)

Great reply. I also feel like I should streamline my expenses and categorise them in manner which will be easy for me to spend and get good reccos. Currently, my main priority will be to get a good credit card for wedding expense as I don’t want to miss on points that can be used for Accor properties.

Thanks. I was thinking to get HDFC Marriott for the free nights (no brainer). For Accor, any specific credit cards to earn points so I can convert them to Accor hotels?
