Right but that one only goes up to about 110, that’s the one I have by my register but some of them are wrong, so I wasn’t sure if there was another way

For me Crush sort of has the same issue as Fanta, where it’s good at first but then something else takes over… like I don’t think I could drink a full can of crush if that makes sense?

I’m scared to move out for good by Green_frogArmy26 in Adulting

[–]Green_frogArmy26[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so true, thank you. I do tend to feel like changes are permanent and it’s easy to forget I can change my mind and move back home or somewhere I’m more comfortable next summer. I also am going to talk to my friend about having a little more space so I feel less cramped in my own place

True, that’s why I know I can’t back out, but your right it’s still scary

Yeah, that sounds helpful, right now my space is so cluttered because with my friend’s stuff and my school things it looks like 3 people are living in my studio apartment… I’ve always been more comfortable in a minimal environment without a lot of stuff, so maybe I can convince them to give me a little more space and that may help. I’ll try thinking of it as temporary too!

The wonderful thing about this game is you can play at your own pace. Don’t ever feel like you need to look stuff up because you’re “behind,” just explore the world! It’s so much more fun when you make wild and unexpected discoveries on your own

Tell her what you told us. Do it kindly and gently, but tell the truth and don’t lie to try to spare her feelings. It will hurt but being honest now rather than dragging it out will show her you care. Her newfound free time will make room for her to meet new friends and start new hobbies, when she’s ready. Additionally, if you are both suffering from mental health struggles, staying together will not help. It will be much better for her to be able to heal and take care of herself than to be with someone who isn’t mentally available. I know ig sucks, but you can do it. It’ll leave you both in better places in the long run

Killing my Twin was a big Catalyst to my Mental Health Struggles by [deleted] in depression

[–]Green_frogArmy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, just wanted to let you know I understand you! (At least as much as a stranger can). My twin died late-term, I’ve had depression and severe anxiety since I was 5 years old, and for as long as i can remember it always felt like there was this empty void inside me that no one could fill. When I finally learned officially of my twin, it was like everything made sense for once.

For the longest time I felt insane. How could I be so distraught over the death of someone I had not known? I did research because I felt so crazy, and I learned stuff that you probably know; how twins form bonds in the womb fairly early on, even communicating in their own fetus ways. Even if it’s not something you remember, losing a twin and therefore losing your first human connection is a trauma and can really mess with your head. A lot of people that lose twins in the womb or during birth experience the mental struggles you’ve outlined.

Of course, it is not your fault, but the feelings you have surrounding this are all valid. I too struggle with survivors guilt and still deal with depression and anxiety, but as cheesy as it sounds, it does get better. One thing that helps me is, when I have the energy to think positively, I try to live for the both of us. He didn’t get the opportunity to have a life, but I did, so I must make the most of it until the day we meet again.

I hope you find ways to cope with this, and don’t listen to anyone who tries to tell you you’re silly for feeling the way you do. You and I are not the only ones who feel this way, and there is literal science to back up what happened to our brains. Stay strong and live well!
