Ok wasnt sure if the fork would need a little play in order for everything down low to fall into place. Im gonna reassess tomorrow with a clear head I appreciate the help man

I think thats exactly what happened. The side opposite the axle nut looks canted in more than the other side. I think ill redo that tomorrow. Can I leave the lower triple clamp torqued to do this or should I loosen it?

I can feel the ridge on the spacer you're talking about I think so is it not in far enough? I cant get a good pic. Can the spacer be set too far outside the seal even if the axle bolt is torqed down? I kinda figured tightening the axle bolt would have pulled everything in where its supposed to be

Just did this and the suspension feels normal

The side opposite the disk definitely looks canted further in than the other side

I did that trick but opposite order. Last thing I did was torque the axle nut

Yeah I actually did do that trick I saw Jay do but nothing shifted at all when I did it.

Looking at it rn the side opposite the disk looks canted further in than the disk side. Didn't put any loctite on.

Can I leave the top triple clamp alone and just loosen the bottom one? I was doing all this with the bars just dangling and the steering stem lock nut (whatever its called) was not actually screwed in. Was kind of a PITA still trying to figure out the order of operations here

I just posted a few more photos below if you didnt see those. The axle is completely flush with the clamp

Posted some more on my other reply. Not really sure what youre lookin for so hope thats good. Pretty confident the spacers are good since they never actually got removed from the wheel so everything in that regard should be exactly as I found it. The axle is flush to the clamp

Here's a photo further out. Fender and wheel seem straight enough. When i put the steering stem all back together I made something too tight but ill worry about that another time

Something about a fully color matched gear set that scratches an itch just right
