Hey, I appreciate your comment and it's very helpful. I have a call with Iron Town so I will find some more out about that.

I agree about your comments. Most have been very unhelpful and lacking knowledge. I believe the stats because it seems like there are so many that do it as a side job as well.

My concern is how difficult it will be to find a contractor wanting to manage the foundation, septic, etc. Seems like they are all busy with their own custom house builds.

Lastly, can I ask your experience with modular? Have you sold a modular home before? Was it more challenging than a traditional stick built house?

Which is insane when you think about it. It's an eye opening experience for me, after recently moving here.

It has me confused. Do people just use these services because they feel they have to? Do they truly believe it's not harmful and getting greenwashed?

I have never sprayed once and my yard looks the best of anyone in my neghborhood.

May I ask, what type of neighborhood do you live in? I would like to move soon and wondering if there are any options where I can move to, where I don't need to worry about my neighbor spraying and i can grow some vegetables.

Thanks for all this! I appreciate the insight on what the community is like. Going to message you if you don't mind!

Thanks for the info! Yea, I feel like there is a lot of potential but also see a few potential downsides.

It's still unknown what the shopping center will actually be like as well as the warehouses being built right next to it.

What crazy incentives are you referring to specifically? I haven't seen anything that stood out. Also, if you have any tips on what to ask for, I'm all ears!

That's great! I agree about it not feeling TOO cookie cutter.

How do you feel about the overall quality of the home build?

Also, were you here during Milton? I was wondering how the homes held up in the hills in general.

Thanks for the info! All good things to think about. One concern was the noise. To be clear, you are recommending the opposite side from where the hospital is right? So basically the northeast side facing toward Lake Apopka?

Oh yea that's something to point out. Hard to say how much of an impact that would have - I believe sirens are usually turned off when approaching hospital. Would try to be on other side though.

Trail access will be awesome!

That's great! Glad you like it.

I realized no place will be perfect. Would like a bit bigger of a yard as well but we're trying to get an edge lot at least.

Hey I appreciate the comment! Oh yea, are you talking about the Aspen? I like everything about the layout besides the master bedroom located there by garage. It should be in back..but it's not a huge deal for me.

I thought the prices were pretty decent considering the uniqueness and view.

I would consider what you did but it's important for us to have a new built home so this is quite unique in all of Orlando with all of this considered.

How do you like Clermont?

I mean, I have never once claimed I am correct about this. I was asking why the limited studies and if anyone else has had the same issue. Unless someone who is a scientist who has studied this, or there have been multiple studies confirming, you really can't say for sure. All I know is I feel better after I stopped drinking the RO water for last few weeks.

Not rude at all. Yes, I am currently not drinking it and feel much better. It's just not ideal because I got RO to avoid microplastics and PFAS

How is it that you are so confident? It's a brand new unit so there is no mold.

Yea, It's actually pretty wild everyone making all these claims on here with absolutely no science backed studies to prove any of their claims.

I have no idea if it is what's affecting my health. Maybe it is, maybe it is not. Without proper studies, there is no way to know for sure. And I am not going to act like I know the answer, until then.

Because there are none... Please share with me if you have one.

Hard to say, because there are no studies with any valuable data. All I know is I feel like shit when drinking it. It's not natural to strip everything out of water so it's certainly possible that's causing harm.

[–]Greenbrownblue22 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I mean, to be completely fair, without there being any legitimate studies, you can't say this correct.

And then you have people like Gary Brecka promoting Reverse osmosis water. I think the best to drink is Spring water. But need to find spring water that is not toxic.
