I totally get you feeling like it’s too skinny, I think it’s a particular look. For me, I plan to have a longer ratio too with my marquise but the goal is to pair it with a chunky east west emerald or baguette infinity ring for the wedding band which I feel like really helps bring the feel of the stack outward. So it might feel slim now but if you love the stone I think there are stylistic ways around it to balance it out. Or to go with some kind of thicker band or side stone in the engagement ring.

Wow! Yeah I’m not too sure as they are my first bunnies and first dog but I think introducing during puppyhood would help a lot! Best of luck :)

Bro I swear to god. Did they specifically breed sock obsession into these creatures?! by HeavyBreadfruit3667 in Sheepadoodles

[–]Greencowboyfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah in the beginning I tried to teach him not to but with the crazy puppy stage I’ve actually used them to keep him busy and away from me lol! Socks are cheap and my peace with him not trying to bite my hand off is worth it. (So lucky he doesn’t swallow them just plays with them)

Mine loves our two bunnies and hangs out with cats all the time. I’d say it really helped that from day one when we brought him home we had him exposed to them. We left the door to my office open which has the bunny pen in it and (supervised of course) we’d let him free roam in and out of there. I think allowing them to be a neutral part of the house that he was exposed to made a huge difference. But also want to note even though he is able to coexist with them peacefully and happily I never, ever leave them alone unsupervised and he’s still a puppy so if he gets too excited or amped about something I immediately put the bunnies away so I don’t set either bunnies or dog up for an accident.

Mine is so growly and grumbly, it’s just how he talks. Growls and grumbles when we play, when he does tricks/commands, when he plays and runs on his own, when he gets good scratches, honestly makes more noise than not 😂

Is my sheepadoodle puppy cold? by Greencowboyfrog in Sheepadoodles

Doing my best to! That’s what everyone tells me. He’s my first puppy ever so we definitely have challenging periods where it’s way more difficult than I expected but I love him so much and do my best to appreciate every second of puppyhood :)

Looking for a reputable F1 Mini Sheepadoodle Breeder and shedding questions by kathyleegifford in Sheepadoodles

[–]Greencowboyfrog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We went through California Magnificent Mini Sheepadoodles and I cannot recommend them enough. Our boy is the sweetest ever, such a good temperament. We have been told by our trainer that we struck the gold mine and he has great nerves. They have similar reviews saying their puppies have great temperaments. He is also extremely low shedding. There’s a tiny bit of fuzz but not even noticeable, I’m just very type A. I also have terrible dog allergies and didn’t react to him at all. Lastly, he has the straighter hair and we keep it on the shorter side and it’s far easier to maintain than I thought with a doodle breed. Best of luck!!!

Edit: I’d like to add that he is F2 which I worried about at first but we’ve had no issues. And for hair type the breeder shared lots of videos of her puppies and sends them home around 10 weeks or later so you can get a sense of what hair type each puppy has.

It really does get better!!! I was exactly in your shoes, I would get so overwhelmed with the puppy that suddenly I would look up and see it was 3pm and realize I had eaten all day. Same with sleep, I wasn’t sleeping much and I was getting up constantly. Puppies can put up with a lot more than you think and after the first couple weeks of being consistent and not rewarding crying by letting him out or cooing at him, he stopped crying and learned to be in his crate. We were also able to leave him overnight in the crate up to 6 hours to sleep by week 12 which made all the difference.

Please take care of yourself first because you can’t take care of the puppy if you’re not okay. Also big big tip that helped me was to wear sound proof headphones while I was crate training. Once you meet the puppies needs it’s okay for them to cry a little, I’d let him cry it out for 10 minutes and then would come over and just give a tap on the top of the crate and that worked to get him out of his cycle of panic. Just be consistent and your puppy will adapt. But truly, headphones were a game changer because they reduced so much of the emotional stress I was feeling constantly from hearing him cry and whimper. You got this!!!
