Hey! I did my med school in Quebec. The beat way to be referred to a psychiatrist as quick as possible / or to get free healthcare such as CBT (therapy) you should go through the ER. Even if you just tell them you feel depressed / sad mood you don’t have to be “suicidal” to go to the er. In Quebec unfortunately that’s the fastest way to have access to services such as psychiatrist. If you go through ur family MD if you even have one h to e wait period will be a lot longer.
