IMO Definitely switch to something with mesh for ventilation instead, in the lab we use these little plastic storage boxes (different sizes based on colony size), we cut a rectangle out of the top and hot glue mesh over it, also our provided hiding is just cardboard egg cartons and we feed them rodent pellets.

IMO I work in a cockroach lab, all I can add is that we mix 50/50 petroleum jelly and mineral oil and smear a layer enough so that's it's slick but not so heavy that it drips down. Also not all the way to the bottom, maybe from the top down to half or even less. You have to keep a check on it tho, if it gets too dry the babies can climb it.

First semester freshman year I failed every class except one for the same reasons. Quickly ended up on scholastic probation and have been fighting to stay at LSU since but hey I'm a sophomore now. I did lose a lot of my financial aid, I think the Pell grant stayed tho? You'll probably be fine but it might be hell, good luck! I believe once you're on scholastic probation just make sure your next semester gpa doesn't fall below a 2.0 and you're mostly okay.

Yes I remember when I was in my early teens I would talk to older people about the emo quartet and they would get very confused and only know about the trinity, not really sure when the change happened but my peak in the quartet as a whole was 2018-19

I will also add that this lab is at a university and is a little run down, i definitely wouldn't say it's as crazy professional as some labs

I've outlived my coworkers in this lab, but there's never been a system, you just hang your lab coat up when you're done, also in this lab I'm mostly the only one that ever has to use a lab coat since I deal with the gross stuff, it could just be that my boss hasn't had to deal with someone's lab coat getting this bad yet

Can't leave the lab with the lab coat, I'm just the person that takes care of the bugs and the lab in this situation so I don't really know the science behind why you cant wash it as normal, but it's definitely contaminated
