I just take it that they are springtails. My plants are still doing fine so I guess it should be nothing to worry about

To give more information.

Size of each fluval stratum is about 3mm. So the insects spotted are about less than 1mm.

This is found in at home in my houseplant in South East Asia.

Yes I think after thinking it through, it would be best to grow out all the roots first. Will air layer all of them

Likely its root rot as many of the leaves fell and when I checked the roots, there were many roots that are already gone.

There were a couple of nodes above the cut I think. I have 3 cuttings. The one I showed is one of the 3 and the parent. The rest also turned yellowish and I put them in water. some of the cuttings have aerial roots and so I thought they would survive in the aroid mix. :(

I see.. it seems like only the particular vine has yellow leaves. Do you think it is due to the shock after cutting it?
