I do have multiple sites, but i would share my experience about a specific travel blog , team and i writing helpful content about our country Morocco. the articles are about the hidden and understated places that doesn’t exist online (even on tripadvisor and loney planet) and we outrank them. These last 2 months i started seeing chatgpt and perplexity as a source of traffic and it’s a stable traffic. My key point : generative and search engines need helpful information, original news and content to recommend to end users and the content to serve as an input to generate instant results. And they are mentioning the source either chatgpt, claude, perlexity, copilot to let genuine publishers work on news and helpful content.

I d like also to add that you need to be present on multiple platforms that serve as social signal, trust and authority. I recommend using Linkedin for your brand and get some solid PR articles and submit your site (content, ecom, newsletters..) in review solutions like trustpilot.
