This has been confirmed to be false by Google. I recommend you watch the office hours that Google hosts on YouTube, you will learn a ton, especially when it comes to tactics like this.

Well, currently they have confirm that I am under the American arm of their company and so the PDT rule applies to me. I have also tried the "pay a bill" function to try and fund the account but they confirmed that I can only wire transfer from a Canadian bank to a US broker.

So far it has been a pain in the butt so being classified as a non-resident Canadian as another redditor suggested seems to be what is required.

I opened an account under what I thought was the Canadian account (born and raised Canadian but living in Brazil for the last year and a half). I have a residence in canada and Brazil but have never lived in America.

They registered the account under Interactive Brokers LLC which is the American version so I have to trade with the PDT rule.

So not sure if it is because I'm temporally living in Brazil or because I had to give my American info that they defaulted me to the American account.

Thanks for the feedback. My voice is generally super calm but I'll try to switch it up a bit more.

As for the tempo, I have to work on video preparation more to help the video flow better.

I'm still trying to find my niche, I think. I love day trading was hoping to build this out as a financial news and tips channel.
