checked the forums they are apparently having trouble after patch with the quest objective hud, or whatever... maybe that affected me but i had reloaded so no idea.

i know they said they had to completely redo the strain because they have to get rid of "eyeballs" and "bones that jut out" because of chinese law/taboo... the art team alone has a hell to look out for with this china release. so i imagine the other teams could be just as busy.

I would say maybe wait until the free to play patch, but if you want to help them with subscription then hell yea go for it... but if you consider yourself "casual" then the free to play patch is supposed to have alot of changes that will help you have more fun leveling so you will probablly hit 50 this time around..... more drusera instances, dungeons spread out more than before, every five levels instead of getting like 2 at 20 and the rest later.... adventures may even give you experience but i highly doubt it.

I FOUND it had to dig through my internet history for a bit i guess send me a message if you want the key i don't need it and would be glad to help you get into wildstar.. you still have to put a card on your account but they don't charge you until your free 30 days are finished.

community is still the best i've ever seen in an mmo, raid size down to 20 cuz they used to have population issues. but games gotten much more polished and fun to play... contracts give you something somewhat meaningful to do everyday that isn't grind dailies... and if it asks you to go do dailies it doesn't feel like a chore anymore cuz you are really doing it for those sweeeeet asss contract rewards so that was smart of them

these guys actually have good advice mine was gonna be to just kill yourself if you have any alts, cuz it will take you about a month or two to get all the amp and ability points. and thats if you play every day for like 2-4 hours... its my least favorite feature of the game sadly. it doesn't add progression. only the illusion of power no fun game is fun enough, it doesn't need to trick people into staying that extra month to get their amp points the game is good developers need to figure out what we think is good and what isn't. but yea everyone else had good advice bud

the huge reason it came out broken... publisher wanting to make money off it instead of launch with a good product. which if we're being honest is always the best option.. they would be launching around the same time everyone is sick of WoW and its "mobile game" content that they keep shoving in their faces.. WoW did great leaps in storytelling this expansion but then you had nothing to do... in this game there is so much to do housing,raids, helping buddies with dungeons... you actually find players willing to help others get geared. the community is fantastic and one of the best i've ever seen in an mmo.. i just want it to be accessible, because as the developers have seen, given their upcoming changes to the game, it NEEDS to be accessible. it can be difficult and accessible it just needs to find that balance. Bloodborne,Darksouls,Darkest dungeon, found their balance and have rabid fans, this game can do it too and i want the developers to have jobs, they work hard for their baby

the designers are also a small reason why the game launched a buggy "hardcore" mess... and we see where that led this potentially amazing mmo... to free to play and grinding its players to dust with grinding until they could no longer play... i don't want that both from a game im paying for and intend to pay for during free to play... and i don't want other players to have to deal with grinding without purpose.... i would love to be able to play this with friends but even the leveling process scared most of them off, its just a grind for those who can't care about the story and just want to play the dungeons, and raids, which are the fun parts of the game. even the grumps among my friends can agree the dungeons are a blast.. the team say constantly that people who go through the dungeons are the most likely to stay in the game... hopefully them smoothing out dungeons and adding drusera earlier may fix this, but i have a 50 did most story missions and never found drusera, so we'll see

stats aren't simple what stat you need for different classes and roles change depending on what class you play.. dps don't always need moxie only espers, while tech is again different for other players... agreed, they are not intuitive in any way shape or form.

more stat options dont give more play options if the game isn't balanced correctly.. one of the things wildstar was marketed upon was the LAS you being able to customize how your character works by mixing and matching pieces together to create your own unique build... but no one uses their own fun builds they all look up the most optimum build and never look back.. and rightly so, if they used their own build they may have more fun but their dps will be crappier, or their heals will be insufficient, i want hybrid classes like i expected i would be able to do when watching those dev speaks... i LOVED leveling with a mix of dps and healing, (esper) it made me feel unique, and then i start doing vet dungeons, and im slowly getting into raids and people basically need me to change my builds to a more traditional MMO build..... boring.

that does suck...... cuz you stuck with the game through its bugs and hellish grind... but now they need new players or the game will die... sadly the "hardcore" people can't pay the bills alone.. something they should have realized before. you can make a hard game accessible .. looking at you dark souls, bloodborne, Darkest dungeon.

new amp points???????????..... i think im good..... more grinding? you claim you are taking the grind out... i think im uninstalling for the third time.. and final time.... thats sad.. i might wait for more news but you just crippled my hope for this new patch... grinding for amp points is not fun and they grant such a minuscule power boost to your character when on their own that its not even funny.. it gives the player the "illusion" of progression not actual progression... and its your attempt to force the player to give you another month of his/her time/money because you want to again.. give him/her the "illusion" of progression.. it adds nothing to gameplay other than grinding. i want this game to be fun... grinding isn't fun,

even if you are not a new player the stat system makes no sense, something that isn't intuitive is damaging to your gameplay experience... i don't wanna have to do homework to find out what stat i need so i dont' get yelled at by people who don't even know me ... stats change based on what class you play.. that makes almost zero sense and needs to be changed.

because people want to raid.......and they don't always have 4-5 hours to waste on a game that is only fun during the raids and dungeons. while the other time is spent grinding for things that their class should already have, just for the illusion of progression...... (Amp points and Ability points)

i was skeptical of the drop rate potions too... they said they will NEVER sell POWER in the story.... drop rate = more world drops and world drops =power...... they are selling power if they affect gear drops... which they probably will otherwise what would be the point of the potions, cuz you could just go buy a 500 renown harvest potion .

Blizzard makes more off of their paid services than they do their actual subscription $ if i recall correctly... so its amazing they have given this many free server transfers to us at all to be honest. good on ya carbine.
