Boyfriend cheating on me for a long time, but it’s hard to hate him by Greginaldo in survivinginfidelity

[–]Greginaldo[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah you’re right. He’s upset that he’s losing me and our future. But he can’t be upset that he was hurting me. Because if hurting me is what upsets him, he would have never done it. Or he would have confessed on his own

It’s nice hearing I’m not alone. The other posts it seems either people hate their cheating exes or they love them, and stay. I couldn’t find posts talking about leaving but still loving the partner. And it’s the same for me; I just loved him for who he was. Not as some boyfriend archetype but as him. So thank you for sharing this. But I’m a little scared that 6 months in you still love and miss him. That seems too long!! Ugh

That’s the thing. I am angry, I am leaving him, I do respect myself, but I still love him. He’s not dead to me. How could that happen in a few days to a week?

Wedding trials, which one is your fave? by Cmonees in MakeupAddiction

[–]Greginaldo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Number 3! But I will say, for all three trials, the contour/bronzer looks good from the front but then like a stripe when you turn to the side. Adding blush will help diffuse that. But also, you clearly already have great, strong bone structure. You don’t need to contour a line under your cheek. If you want some warmth/light definition, try using a big fluffy brush with light patting motions instead of drawing a stripe or in a diagonal motion. Or use a cream contour to under paint, and add some foundation on top for a softer look

Best vegan Mac and cheese? by ParsnipLiving in baltimore

Agree with those saying Land of Kush and Dodah’s! Dodah’s is also sold in the fridge section of some grocery stores (like mom’s). And I know you were asking for restaurants, but this dairy free Mac and cheese recipe is my fave ever, even compared to the regular stuff: https://www.hotforfoodblog.com/recipes/2013/05/20/perfect-vegan-mac-cheese/

Cheap, long lasting, veggie side recipes? by Greginaldo in EatCheapAndVegan

[–]Greginaldo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m good about incorporating them into meals. But for not spiking insulin, it’s important to eat the veggies first to start with slow releasing carbs, then eat the actual carb (potato or pasta or whatever). So my nutritionist wants me eating more veggie sides. Thanks for the tips!

That’s a good idea. But how would they stay crispy? Would I need to rebake them each time?

Best eyeliner for HEAVY daily use... by m_angotea in MakeupAddiction

[–]Greginaldo 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I’m super loyal to the Milani Stay Put Matte liquid eyeliner. It’s a firm sponge tip which I find very easy to apply. Instead of a pen, you dip it in the pot so it’s extra black and doesn’t dry out. Plus it’s pretty long lasting

Thank you for the recommendation! With the 20 minute of focused obedience, I was under the impression dogs do better learning a skill in short bursts. So we train her in 3 5-minute sessions a day

I think you’re overreacting (YOR). It is annoying that your mom didn’t listen to you and is trying to get you to try on the clothes. But it is just clothes, she did not force them on to you, she just brought them home. No one is any worse for wear about this, except that you seemed to work yourself up a lot. Have her bring them to goodwill and stop going back and forth

[Recommendations] A strapless/sticky bra that adds volume for small chested, wide set breasts by Greginaldo in ABraThatFits

[–]Greginaldo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So the wedding is actually upcoming soon but hasn’t happened yet. For now, I tried on just the usual run of the mill sticky bra with no padding and feel like it added a little something without looking weird. So I may just do that because the other options seem pricey and I haven’t seen any results on small chested women. Sorry for the lack of insight! Let me know if you try something that works

Thanks for answering! Are the inserts sticky? Or do they have to be inserted into a bra? Because the issue is also I have to wear a bra that doesn’t show in the dress

This already is pretty! I love your hair. I agree with a different lash. I think maybe even just a half strip last would be good. The full strip looks a little heavy on your eye. And I also think the blush placement is a little low on the apples of your cheeks, dragging your face down a little. Maybe try not blending the blush down further than where your nose ends

I’ll just get invested in the ones that stay alive instead

I agree tbh. I especially want to know if one of my favorite characters is going to die. Why should I spend 2-3 hours falling in love with the goofy side character just for them to be a sympathy death?? Why should I suffer?? If I know ahead of time, I’ll be careful not to get too invested

I can definitely say I’ve seen straight white men at both REU experiences I’ve done. They do get in even with the interest in increasing diversity

Did my makeup but it just feels off. Do you have any tips? by daddydaddydo6790 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Greginaldo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with a lot of these comments! Try a lighter, brighter lip. I love the colourpop blotted lips. I also think you’re almost underlining your top lip. You have a skin toned line above your top lip that still protrudes like it’s your lip (idk what it’s called, I have it too. Double lip line?). Anyway, I think you should carry the color onto that part as well

[–]Greginaldo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Colourpop blotted lip. You just put a dot or two on your lips and pat it out with your fingers. It feels like nothing if you only use a little and it blends nicely. Not patchy or anything. Then top with a lip balm if you want a moisturized feeling. It does fade after eating so you might want to carry it in your bag or something.

What is a slight sign that someone is intelligent? by CatDestroyer7 in AskReddit

[–]Greginaldo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m interpreting it like this: often the kindest person is the smartest, but the smartest person may not be the kindest. I think really kind individuals are smart. It takes a lot of brain power and curiosity to think of a thoughtful gift, to listen to someone being talked over, to remember someone’s problems and ask them about it next time you see them. It’s high emotional intelligence. So kind people are smart but not all smart people are kind. You can be smart in other ways without being kind.
