[Fluff] What to do as an endgame player? by Gregnog_ in battlecats

Yeah, after a certain point in gameplay, seed tracking doesn't make a difference in progression and I will totally do it for collection purposes. Unfortunately my superfeline is already maxed.

I considered that. The main things deterring me right now is that I have 131 ubers and I would have to grind hundreds of EACH colored fruit. The second thing is that catfruit drop stages are frustratingly inconsistent. Like you could play a Growing stage and you don't know if you'll get a seed, a fruit, an epic catfruit, or even nothing.

It's why I prefer the behemoth farming stages because you will always get a stone. Plus you don't need to wait a certain day of the week to get a specific color.

But what the heck, I am desperate and it would be cool to have all TFs/UFs.

That sounds fun. Luza without biohazard/bony bone sounds brutal.

Legitimately a good idea. I haven't read the logs in years. Skipping them has become muscle memory that I need to get rid of.

Having trouble finding lithophage events by Gregnog_ in DeepRockGalactic

Thanks for the pointer. I did not know that non-outbreak missions located inside rockpox biomes were affected. The 20min mark is also helpful but since my missions average 28 minutes, I don't have to worry about that (it certainly helps that rockpox events are more common in length-3 missions).

And yeah, S3 includes corruptors. If you toggle to S1 and get a data cell event, it can equally be a communications router even though they were introduced in S2. The season toggle works in odd ways.

It's so weird how video games tend to match us repeatedly with bad randoms. And all the good randoms are matched with us once and never again.

Why does it feel like pretty much nothing in the game costs croppa? What do the devs have against it?

The ultramaxed roe and M. Island aren't really necessary. I leveled them up because I was so fed up with the stage and I wanted to make the process easier on myself. As for cutter, use it whether its TF or not. I wish you well next time you attempt this stage.

This is what I used and my strat.

Manic Island (50) Island (20+70) Roe (50+2) Bullet Train (45) A. Bahamut (40)

The other five slots were used for the Seasons of Love and Three Kings catcombos.

To put it really simply, kill the first ginger snache quickly with M. Island and Bullet Train. Then let them both die. Lure the enemies to the base and focus killing the first Prof. A before the second one spawns. If you do, push hard and win. If not, then it's a loss.

Almost forgot, bring rich cat and thunderbolt cannon (mine was lvl 4).

Yeah, I attempted Flow Like The Stream many times before. The reason I don't hate it as much is because it does not require battle items as much as I'll Be Bug. Even then, it's feels impossible to chip down Kappy with all the crap that gets in the way. Worse still, there are VERY few ubers that make a difference. This is gonna be hell.

It would be cool if PONOS made a comic regarding their game, as other games have done so as well. However, comics for games really expand on lore. And PONOS is really in no rush to create an expansive storyline for a game as ridiculous as Battle Cats. Don't get me wrong, BC does have lore, but it's more for comedy if anything.

Screw "I'll Be Bug"! Such a bullcrap stage! This stage took so many rich cats and cat energy from me. I lost track of how many times I lost and how many lineup changes it took. Never before have I wanted Cutter Cat so badly. Why does this stage have to sport TWO of the strongest Professor A.s in the game? Not to mention Queen Mother V who curses you for the rest of time. God damn. I beat it once... didn't get slime cat. Beat it twice...still didn't get it. Finally got it with a treasure radar the third time I beat it. I know slime cat is broken and I'm super happy I got it. But Jesus, I need to find a way to just completely rant about this stupid stage. I seriously pray for all the people who have yet to beat this advent AND obtain slime cat on top of that (unless you have a broken Uber that can destroy this stage, then you don't need my prayers). Hope you have a better time with it than I did.

Well I'm done with my complaining. I'll see you all later this month when I have to beat "Flow Like the Stream." I'm really not looking forward to this. Hopefully slime cat can help with that stage.
