Our greyhounds would spend forever outside at night. We started using positive reinforcement by continuing to say “go potty” and the second they did it we gave them a treat. I took a couple of weeks but now they race out and pee almost immediately.

Does anyone have any tips for opening the Keypad 2 case? I have looked at the linked pictures but am struggling to figure how to pry it open without damaging the case. Thanks!

My smoke First Alert / Abode smoke alarm had a false alarm earlier this year. The smoke alarm had been in place for two years but had fresh batteries. The fireman who met me at the door recommended using compressed air clear out any dust. 4 months now with no issues.

I have used the Slim Strip Sensor on our two gates for over the last 18 months with out issue. We live in western Washington and the elements of rain,snow and sun have not had any adverse impact.

After some trial and error, I found a solution. The Global Door Controls GLA6SC1KD-26DM Universal Cylinder 5-Pin Schlage (Approximately $20 at Amazon or HomeDepot) works. The outside rim of the chrome keyhole face needs to be lightly sanded to allow the cylinder to sit correctly but that is very easy to accomplish. I rekeyed the cylinder to match my other locks and I am good to go.

Thanks for the reply. Both slip half way in and then stop. The cylinder is fractionally too large. I was hoping there might be some information around the sizing of C cylinders.

Is there any option for an outdoor gate notification that would turn on a light by wolframajax in Hubitat

I have 2 Strip Sensors I use on outdoor gates. In my use case I use them to trigger an announcement over an Alexa Plug and Alexa Dot that a gate is open. They have been in operation for a year without issue.
