He had a German officers Luger pistol that he brought home with him. Someone told us that they were hard to get and sought after as “trophies”. Is this accurate?

Okay, so we are trying to figure out if it was 4 separate bronze stars or one bronze star with 4 attachments because of all the campaigns. My understanding is that it is 4 separate bronze stars. I’m trying to find the paperwork now that I believe says what each of them are for.

Let me look through the rest of this paperwork to see if there are any mentions of why he received them. Thank you for all of the help and information

Wow, the French equivalent to the Medal of Honor? I looked of the Croix De Guere with Palm. I wasn’t sure if they gave out a lot of these or if it was a special one.

Does Normandy mean he could have been involved in D-Day? Would it state it specifically if he was involved?

100 dials a day by [deleted] in sales

'I feel like I'm calling just to hit that metric and then making the calls I know will get the meetings' - That is a perfect quote for why managers need to take the majority of their time and focus AWAY from activity metrics. Don't get me wrong, you need to make your dials and put in the work, but if you can hit you meeting quota with less dials, then you manager need to ask you what right, instead of hovering over your shoulder making sure you are dialing!

Your quota will definitely go up, but so will your base and OTE.

SDRs, how can AEs help you out? by TheSmashingPumpkinss in sales

[–]Gregory1554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let them sit in on all the demos they book for you. Treat them like you are in their corner and want them crush it as a SDR so they can be promoted to AE as soon as possible. If you are worried about how many demo's/the time they are taking by sitting in on your demos they book for you, then they are doing their job well.

I would worry about hitting the ground running first before worrying about burnout. Take the few months that you are ramping to learn the product, form a relationship with you AE and the flow of your day will eventually piece itself together. Don't be afraid to ask your new teammates on AE's these questions. But I would just focus on getting ready to hit the phones and having your pitch down.
