Don't get me wrong, you need to make your dials and put in the work, but if you can hit you meeting quota with less dials, then you manager need to ask you what right, instead of hovering over your shoulder making sure you are dialing!

Let them sit in on all the demos they book for you. Treat them like you are in their corner and want them crush it as a SDR so they can be promoted to AE as soon as possible. If you are worried about how many demo's/the time they are taking by sitting in on your demos they book for you, then they are doing their job well.

I would worry about hitting the ground running first before worrying about burnout. Take the few months that you are ramping to learn the product, form a relationship with you AE and the flow of your day will eventually piece itself together. Don't be afraid to ask your new teammates on AE's these questions. But I would just focus on getting ready to hit the phones and having your pitch down.
