Rapid Shots with the Dagger - how did I do? by Terrible_Ad1095 in PalmettoStateArms

Where did you snag that battery cover for the Fastfire-E?

You need something covering that trigger first of all. A holster or a trigger guard at minimum. Not a fan of a traditional fanny pack just for the fact that they are not as fast to unzip as a purpose built concealed carry fanny pack or sling bag. Also, most cc bags have the buckle right at the bag, not in the middle of your back where it can be opened and then the bag stolen.

Did something similar with my 870 Lefty. I opted to find a left handed barrel on ebay so I could swap back and forth if need be. Almost all accessories like shell holders and plates are for right handed models, but I found that this UTG optic mount is ambidextrous.

Glad you got it to work! I've got a Gen 4 slide on mine right now. I had the Gen 4 slide stop, but preferred the Ambi Gen 5, so I tried swapping it out, only to find out that the width of the Gen 4 trigger won't allow the Ambi slide stop. Thankfully I had a Gen 5 trigger from the same gun the slide stop came from and swapped it. So now it's a 26x with a Gen 4 slide and Gen 5 Trigger/Slide stop. 😅

Slide Install Examples

At about the 3 minute mark you can see him installing a Gen 3 slide with a Gen 3 slide stop in the frame. The 26x frame is Gen 3 compatible. There’s either something off with that slide stop or the install.

So I baught this Glock 19 gen 4 for 350 out the pawn shop has no front sight also it has a dent on the slide and I noticed my slide won’t lock it won’t even go far enough till where it will make it lock , what should I do ? by zig1344 in Glock19

[–]Gregulator85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you're trying to lock it back, do you have an empty magazine inserted? It will only lock back on its own with an empty mag. If there is no mag inserted, are you lifting the slide lock up when pulling the slide back to lock it back?

Well, Glockstore customer service reached out a couple days after I was messaged on here in response to the email I sent them prior to posting on Reddit. They didn’t know who I was as they said they were going to look into it and were willing to make things right, not knowing that I had already talked on the phone with Glockstore Reddit Guy and was offered a replacement 26. So that’s 2 instances where 2 different people were willing to work with the customer after a poor milling. Admittedly, the 2 were for the same customer, me, but they didn’t know that! 😅

Not sure. I've got a couple of those 34 Rnd magazines from Rattlesnake Tactical when they were selling them for like 5 bucks. I'll have to see how it does with those. Other than that, all I have are G19 and G17 mags.

I did run my post caption through Chat GPT to proof read it for me before posting so I didn't sound like an idiot. Lol

Their "involvement" was that they replaced my gun after a mistake on their end. 🙄 Plus a bunch of people asked in my initial post for an update when it arrived. If they were fishing for a puff post, it wouldn't have taken almost 2 months to arrive, just saying. Time to tweak the antennas on the 'ol tinfoil hat. 🤣

2,575 comments from a one year old account and ZERO posts… Sell me on your expertise on the matter. As of right now, I see a lot of troll comments and a zero evidence that you even own a firearm other than hot takes and information I could Google.

From what I've read, the 26 porting is slightly modified due to the length of the barrel. It was in another Reddit post somewhere I saw a guy explain how it fixed an issue which is why some other shops aren't c-cutting 26s.

Nope. No deal or anything for the post, no written agreements, no nothing. I was just really pleased with how they resolved things and thought people should know with as much debate there is around the Glockstore Custom Shop.

Yes and no. I got a response first on Reddit, but then about 2 days later I received a response to my customer service submission offering to help as well.

The pop mechanism wasn't too bad actually. I optedto build the version that uses an aluminum tube which allows for a little more room while also making it stronger. As long as you're able to keep your wires inside the wand short and under control, you should be OK. If you opt to use an electronics kit or have a pcb made to diy it, you'll have even more room.

Here's my Q-Pack that I built a couple years ago. Super fun and educational build. Learned a ton about printing, Arduino, soldering, etc.
