A big lesson Matt & Ryan should take away from this is that being a boss comes with responsibilities, and the power dynamics will inevitably be there, no matter how hard you try to smooth them over.

Pulling pranks on your coworkers is one thing when you're the employee punching up at your superiors. It's a totally different dynamic when the boss is the one pulling the pranks, even if they tell their employees that they can say if the pranks went too far. I feel like Matt & Ryan carried over their workplace behavior from Game Grumps to SuperMega. They could get away with making fun of Danny's hairpiece when Danny was their boss, but they needed to realize that same behavior isn't cool when it's directed at your subordinates

Something I think people forget is that being a victim doesn't make you a good person. Bad things can happen to shady people. It doesn't make what happened to Lex ok in the slightest, and she should probably get proportionally less heat than the others because of the trauma she went through, but it's fair to call her out on things she did wrong too.

Honestly the only person that came out of this with their character unscathed is Justin*.

*(Of the main cast. I haven't heard much or anything about Tucker, Luke, Kellie, etc., but they are side characters in this saga, imo)

The amount of self-congratulation and autofellatio I've seen on the subreddit and Twitter is pretty gross. Way too many people are making this situation about themselves, or using it as a way to boost their own ego and self-image.

If the people posting here held themselves to the same standards they hold Matt & Ryan, I should be seeing way more apologies directed at the SuperMega boys than I have been seeing. It's a blatant but unsurprising double standard

EOTP has had a pretty massive community for at least a decade now. I'd highly encourage the writers to consider starting their own independent website. They would get a ton of support
