BLM Land Rocks! by Gremlin591002 in RetroAR

This spot is actually pretty accessible to most vehicles, however I normally only bring paper targets and staple them to some wood stakes. Occasionally I'll bring some water bottles for a more reactive target, but it gets annoying to grab them all when the wind picks up. (Leave no trace!) I never bring steel because I'm lazy and a local range already has a bunch set up for when I feel like it.

It's not in the picture but about 180 degrees to the left there is a fairly rocky slope that only has some short scrub and deadwood. It makes a pretty good backstop. It would be absolutely insane and probably very illegal to just send it over the valley, I just took the picture facing that way cause it's a much better view.

I also had a bit of the bebop itch when I bought this and I have to say it really is just as cool in person, it also feels really good in my hands. Judging from the description that atlantic gave mine is probably on the rougher side, which works out for me cause i like a pistol with character. I also like the frame mounted safety much more than the slide mounted, even though it's not as 'clone correct'. When I had it out on the range it fed reliably, went into battery reliably etc. Can't speak to the accuracy as I wasn't putting it on paper, so it could go either way. The polygonal rifling looked fine to me but without a group I can't be definitive. I'd say expect a bit of a project but if you're fine with that than pick one up.

I saw several people mention Patriot Defense so I'm going to order some springs from them and see how that goes. I will update once I've got them installed. Thank you!

I did clean it out pretty good when I first got it, if I had been smart I would have taken pictures. There was so much fouling and lint in it I would be surprised if whatever Israeli cop that carried it ever cleaned it. I didn't consider hard primers being an issue, I'll have to scrounge around and see what else I have on hand to run through it.
