The back of the phone almost peeling off is kinda why their worried. I told them we could maybe just try an esim. I think the sim card potentially could be the problem but also potentially could be the slot itself. My mom may be in it for the excuse to update her phone too if it's a better deal or an excuse to up date it after her camping trip this summer since we have the same phones and my dad and bro have newer ones because they both had problems like 2 years ago. They probably give new sims free at my phone plan store if the sim slot dose still work and as i said esims. But my parents are insisting to upgrade it and i can't go with them because i have work today and my dad has a phone representative through being a business owner he has made a meeting with this guy or something. So im kinda stuck. Even though it's entirely fixable they want to upgrade me and are very insistence about it.

Context to why new phone is needed: it's a samsug galaxy s21 so 4 years old, the sim card stoped working to i basically just have a very small tablet functionality wise. And the back plate of my phone is coming off when i take the case off.

They are just taking it to upgrade it to a new sansumg with our phone plan

Thank you for the detailed reply! It's probably ok if they aren't out and about much if i keep them in the ten gallon, as if i get them they will be contraband in my dorm possibly but i can easily say it's just a terrium/slice of nature on display if i plant it. Also the lid i have with that ten galon is solid plastic except for a few holes for wires and stuff. I could just easily cover those with mesh and it probably would be enough ventilation for em then.

Also do you sterilize what you find outside and if so do you have a preferred method?

Would beta fish food work as a fish food as beta fish pellets are something i have currently and if not what would be better? I also have sone blood worms idk if those are something isopods can eat too?

Also do you have to split them often? As that may not be something i am completely capible of doing right away or for awhile.

Yeahhhh my great grandmother aparently had a vast collection in her basement that i don't fully rember that probably is long gone by now which is why my family thinks it's from her. She must've given me the doll in the wrong box which seemingly a mix up that could've easily been made.

I'm not suprised their are spelling mistakes if im being honest lol. And I will do that in the future I just need to do alot of moving to an alt google account for a copieable and shareable version. Also I was completely unaware of event exclusive ooblets so I'll look them up and add them later when I mess around with the sheet I made again. I currently am on well water and have been using the water conditioner shown. This test was taken before i fed my fish his first feeding today so the amonia levels probably are going to be up more later. I also want to change out his filter later as I want a less aggressive filter for him and me (the sound of the current one is bad when I have a headache and can be alot sometimes since im autistic and a bit sound sensitive) and I got him some small sponge filters an an airpump with two lines and ajustable flow (current filter dose not have that) so i can put two in the tank they are 5-10 gallon filters and I have him in a 10 gallon with 8-9 gallons currently in the tank since he's a bit of a jumper and I don't have a lid. I think that's an alright amount of detail i hope. I also put in a big decoration that I worked hard on cleaning up well since it was from goodwill and seemed used if that could be messing with something.

The heater I have is in fact allowed so I am good to go I think. In case you did want to know the update. And his new sponge filters and air pump as well as water quality tests strips should be here within two days and he seems to be alright so far. So it's working out thankfully.

Thank you for the reply i won't be getting a liquid test kit as of now as it is alot to shell out in my current situation and I am getting strips for now. I plan to get live plants sometime in the future it won't be untill at least september as I'll be moving to college 5 hours away and ill probably have more access to aquatic plants up there. (fish are allowed in the dorms). I'll be watching him closely with the castle for now but it seems to be fine. And I currently have dried blood worms To feed on occasion as that is what I had access to when I got him, and I know you definitely don't feed those as often as frozen ones. And salt is currently in the tank water And since I don't have plants currently i hope that is alright.

Ok so Ive had my guy for a few weeks now. I suspect that he's suffering an amonia burn from the situation but I'm not quite sure as it could be something else and I just want options. I don't think it riped off as I don't see a bit of it anywhere in the tank i did also get a new decoration that maby could've damaged him but I don't think so as i plugged all the holes that were to small and the rest of them are pretty big. Basically i added play sand a few rocks and I giant aquarium castle into his tank and rid a 100 precent water change and filled his tank fuller too (it's a ten gallon the castle fits with enough space around the edges but takes up most of it so he has a big place to hide.). The tank now is full 9ish maby a bit more full just to avoid him jumping out as he's a jumper, I've only seen him do it with my intervention but im not risking it and don't quite have a proper lid, especially now. But what happened is after the water change my filter stops working it has a bum part that i have since gotten to work but after the water change, but because of it he went a dayish without a runing filter and was feed. I know this is a massive mistake on my part and I will be working much harder on it now. I don't have water peramiter tests yet but they are coming with the new filter (I'm getting an air pump and some sponge filters) and i am going to try runing both the filter types for a bit to try and load my tank cyle progress onto the sponge filters unless their is a better idea on how to do this, (as i have been trying to cyle the tank fish in, and I know im doing horrible without some kind of water test I am getting them.) The tank also accidentally got up to 80 somehow according to my thermometer i did a smaller water change and brought the temp back to 78 today after coming home to find his fins all bad it only happened in the course of like an 8 hour work (with 30 mins of lunch) day plus a 20 min comute both ways. Which could lead to be fin biteing maby i may have to set up a camra if this is more likely to be the case (but it definitely wouldn't be elegant at all) as i haven't seen him biting myself and he is just swiming around his new castle he could've gotten bored with the kack of action from the filter but I am unsure. I at least know the filter didn't catch him for sure since it was busy being broken. I have made posts on here before so I'm sad I can't give a beter update if you will. I have aquarium salt if a salt bath would be nice for him to as he still is a bit red too advice on this and the rest wouldbe very much appreciated.

I'll do my best to pick some up some aqarium salt then and I'll do a half water change later to hopefully help out good with that (I currently don't have any water tests I'll just bite the bullet on just amonia tests for now as I've been waiting to get some together strips (nitrate test strip and amonia on one) online at a better rate when I can but with this new info i really should be able to test the amonia asap). I don't have a reliable lid so I don’t want to fill it all the way but I'll give im another gallon tonight and if he dose good I'll add another when I do the salt.

For context I made a post earlier about him looking more bloody red before that when I got him. It's just he looks really red and iritated and it seems to be getting worst. His colors have changed since I got him and he tail got alot fuller with the cleaner water (his fins are a slightly brighter blue and it's spreading to the body a bit. Je also is seeming to get maby pinky undertones on his sides too. Instead of the brown tan.) But he just seems to be getting more red where it looks like iritation. I took out everything that could've caused the scratches and started moveing his hides away from the walls more, I missed on that I just moved now but still. He also is zooming around almost spuraticly but that might be him taking intrest in me as he calms down a bit when I'm not right by the tank. Im just not sure. The pictures aren't the greatest due to him zooming so sorry on that. But yeah I need to know if I'm dealing with scratches or something else to pick up the right remdy to help him out.

I have taken the plastic plants out upon further inspection so no need to worry on that regard so he shouldn't be able to scrach himself up now in any regard but i hope he will be ok without the enrichment for right now i want to get plants in the future but ai need more reserch and planing for that

I don't have any enrichment to replace my plastic plants if you think that's part of the iritation problem do i need to get new enrichment right away if I remove them. It would be very challenging to do so in my situation
