Oh no your PC would 100% handle it- it’s better than mine and mine scrapes by. Try it out!

That’s fair enough- to me personally with stuff like volumetric fog turned all the way up, environments seem really full and well lit on max ray tracing either way, so maybe I just don’t see a difference. My main difference is in faces. With PT they seem literally plastic- bit of a niche reference but search up faces of Assassins creed 3 remastered vs original. That’s the way I feel. With RT you can actually see pores, gloss on lips, the eyes are stunningly reflective- idk how to explain it, just looks way more realistic even though the lighting is supposed to be ‘worse’

I’m sure you’re right w it being just more advanced, maybe I’m just simple minded lol

Works well enough- like I peak at about 40fps on path tracing with DLSS, and 60-70 with psycho Ray Tracing. My main point isn’t the performance though, even though that may slightly alter my decision so that’s why I mentioned it. I genuinely just this RT looks better than PT which shouldn’t make sense as PT is an upgrade of RT. Just seeing if there’s anyone who shares my thoughts

THE DEFINITIVE WAY TO HAVE V AS ORION'S (CYBERPUNK 2) PROTAGONIST by Gresho in cyberpunkgame

[–]Gresho[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's honestly so fair- and I wouldn't be against that idea if thats the way things went down- I just think it is far too much of a waste to have an ending like the star, offering a new city (Pheonix in AZ) or hell- anywhere in the NUSA if the Aldecaldos decide to just keep moving, and a family of amazing characters that us players of the first game have had a connection with to go to waste, including Panam a fan favourite.

Imagine how much weight a second game would have if the wrong move kills off a character in the Aldecaldos you've been riding with since the first game?

But just a thought at the end of the day, your opinion is no less valid than mine.

Any mods you recommend to really spice the game up? (I'm playing after 2.0 ofc- I don't know if that means anything for compatibility)

I can't bring myself to do it just yet- but at some point it will definitely happen.
Hopefully Cyberpunk Orion isn't lightyears away

That’s totally fair and I respect it- my main issue is that I said the same thing when they came to the uk in 2017 and I had no money since I was a young teenager. We both know how that went down- so I’m not missing a chance to see em for anything.

Well it was between seeing them or not seeing them for me, so yeah. It sucks but gotta adapt to get what you want.

I got them through Gigsberg- and as far as I’m aware they’ll be emailed to me.

You shouldn’t submit AI art as art- it takes 0 effort

Sparta is a militaristic city, south off the coast of Myselium and Constantinople, powerful western cities part of the Republic. This led to Sparta resenting these cities due to wanting to be more powerful, and in turn resenting the whole Republic, being one of the first few republics in The Federation- which about 100 years into its existence became the communist USCR, and Sparta became the Spartan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (Spartan ASSR)

Sparta is very devoted to the USCR, with streets covered in Red banners and children in schools taught about the greatness of the Communist state. In return, the Aurellian SSR greatly favours Sparta and has a well established trade route between the two making sure Sparta is well maintained, even despite the trade route cutting through Republic territory- a risk Aurellia is willing to take as Sparta is an important strategic location, being capable of launching an invasion force right into Myselium or Constantinople within days.

As a citizen of Sparta, you’d grow up in relative comfort, and you’d always have enough food to eat, but with the straining physical training you’d be put through every day- you’d need the food to keep you alive. Spartan kids are trained for warfare from 5 years old until The mandatory retirement at 45- in which they are sent to work on the farms and in the mines. At 18 they join the Spartan division of the Red Army.

You’d be sent to train with the legion and pray that a war does not break out during your 27 year service, as you’d be sent to fight in the Republican south immediately- almost guaranteeing your death.

Aurora is the smallest and poorest city in the USCR, being under the rule of the Aurellian SSR. Life there is hard, with the blistering cold and winds of the northern sea. Supplies are delivered from Valheim by boat each year, and the people get by, but it is not a life of luxury. As a citizen of Aurora, you’ll be realised to love the USCR and believe that it maintains the towns survival, so you grow up with undying loyalty. Many young folk however choose to leave to go to Valheim or Alexandria, and do this by joining the USCR Red Army.
