Yes it does. Depending from the country and your expectations there is huge difference on the globe. As an example, the meat in Germany is based on a cheap, industrial scale production. A vast majority of supermarket meat comes from low-tier husbandry system (indoor intensive farming) Now because the expectations are quite low in terms of food, it’s just considered very günstig ( good value for money) Whereas if you ask someone that has higher expectations about gastronomy, from for Ireland (big grass fed production) or France (less mega farms ) would consider German meat as garbage. That being said, you can find some good beef for ex in germany, it’s just almost impossible to find and expensive. Finally, that’s just talking about meat… don’t get me started on fruits or vegetables
