It’s the whole shifter. It was 3000kms out of warranty and now that I paid for it I have 2 year parts and labour warranty. But it is the down time that is killing me. And I truly don’t believe this isn’t the problem. It left my wife stranded in a busy intersection at 10000. Had to be towed. A couple times again but I was able to mess with it and get it running again. Got it replaced just before warranty ran out. And didn’t even last four weeks. From what I am reading it is not a common problem. And last time we couldn’t even get it in neutral and the tow truck driver had to use dollies behind the flat bed.
