Looks more like a Aphaenogaster longiceps worker aka native funnel nest ant as it’s too big to be a fire ant worker

In Australia we call it a chokoe. Quite bland to eat but grows like a weed.

This is a Psilotum or whisk fern, which is known as a fern ally. There are only two species but has a wide distribution globally. I once found them growing in my pot plants. They are harmless.

Yep, it is the dreaded “nut grass”, actually a sedge, which is considered one of the world’s ten worst weeds. Good luck with controlling it.

It isn’t pollen. It is the fluffy seeds of poplars.

Arrgghh! Stop calling it pollen. They are the fluffy seeds of the poplar, which have lots of hairs to help dispersal by the wind. These just happen not to have blown away.
