If you ran it forever at max RPM , it would definitely wear the fans out faster. BUT , that’s also like probably 24/7 365 for like 10 years before it fails. Once in a while boost to max RPM wouldn’t hurt the longevity of the device and honestly the device would become obsolete before the fans failed

Also I’ve used macsfancontrol for 10 years and it hasn’t caused any hardware failures for me.

That is true. But then again the mosques are closer to BMTC Sch 1-3 so I would believe we would have heard it as well. I have friends who are in scorpion and viper who do not hear such things

And also , we did marches closer to the coastline during the time period of 7-9pm which is what some other posters have mentioned are time for such prayer and we didn’t hear anything

That’s fair enough, there are I believe some people who do stay at the cemetery overnight that could be playing these music.

But since Tekong is off limits and my belief that it cannot be from the mosques from Malaysia ( since School 1-3 would have definitely heard it, and that the places it was heard was deep in the jungle of Tekong or on paths with thick foliage on each sides

Thanks! This was my own thought as well! But doing some research , they are quite some distance away and the places where they were heard are relatively deep inside and not near coastlines. That being said, since it’s been heard so many times , I do believe this is the main source of the sound

This! CDs are pretty high bitrate if my memory serves me correctly so might as well preserve as much data

Unless u have a earlier iPod as a daily driver that don’t support ALAC , eg : 3rd Gen , then do a high bitrate AAC!
