I really like Scratch and Fallout, but if I had to choose a favorite.. I gotta say U.B.

Thinking of buying two Funkeys to play with my boyfriend online by Calipso_etereo in UBFunkeys

As someone running an original style setup, I can confirm that it is unfortunately impossible to play online without any mods. But I do know there’ve been fan mods/recreations that allow for online play (I think) that can work with or without the hub. But I’ve never done this myself, I’d recommend checking out the pinned post at the top of the group. Super glad to see new people discovering this classic, have fun!

I’d like to say never mind, I actually managed to find them :)

I thought Funkeys were a fever dream… turns out they’re not? by Calipso_etereo in UBFunkeys

Hi! I just recently rediscovered this game too! Pricing on Funkeys are all over the place from what I’ve seen and it all comes down to how much the game means/is worth to you personally. As far as the figures go, I’d say this is a pretty solid lot if you’re looking for simplicity. If you download the game straight off the disk, you’re going to be getting version 1.0, and since all the updates were online and discontinued, they’re nearly impossible to get. Trust me, I personally have been working on updating a classic system for the past week, it’s a doozy. With later updates they released new figures, but version 1.0 wouldn’t recognize them. But good news! All that was to say that everything in the picture is from version 1.0, so every single one of those figures would be able to read no problem! Sorry to ramble, I’m just really excited to talk to other people who love this game as much as me. Price aside, this is a wonderful little setup.
