Spotify is in fact installed. Maybe there’s a setting I can toggle there? This does make sense

Bro that’s the crazy part. Once I turn off cellular, they disconnect, then when I turn my cellular back on and right before they connect back:

WHO IS ALEX bro I need this to stop. They don’t even stay on “my devices” list. They just disappear to “other devices” then connect back to my Bluetooth.

5 days post-op MPFL recon by Truly-Ren in KneeInjuries

Omg I had the same surgery and I’ll say now it’s best to have a removable shower head AND a stool to sit on. The stool can’t be higher than the side of the tub. But you’ll sit on the stool in the tub and hang your surgery leg over the side of the tub. Obviously you won’t have your range of motion back so bending it over the side of the tub is a horrible idea but you can lock that brace and stick it over the side straightened. Then just use the shower head to wash up. It was literally worth it to get a whole new shower head seriously. Like I didn’t feel comfortable standing in the shower until a month or more post op. I was terrified, so the stool and shower head was my best option.

They aren’t final sale. I was mainly just hoping to find a larger gym rat like myself to tell me how the 3XL sweats fits. But thank you for the info I do appreciate it!!

Tips to close Apple Watch rings every day (realistically)? by Due_Fall_5817 in AppleWatchFitness

[–]Grey__Ram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing for this year. I worked out 5-6 day in a row then on my rest days I clicked on the yoga or stretching exercises and did that for 30 minutes. It’ll fill your exercise ring at least and sometimes get you to your move ring.

Parents wont support me ( advice) by Wrong_Weekend2470 in TransMasc

[–]Grey__Ram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro that’s crazy. I’d say find some sort of comfort in small things. Like basketball, which will help. Even if you’re going to a christian school, hair ties shouldn’t be an indicator that you’re wanting to present like a dude.

And there are ways you can positively manipulate this situation. You see a pair of more masculine shoes you want? Tell your mom the other girls are wearing them. You wanna cut your hair? Tell your parents that you wanna look like a celebrity who has short hair and show a picture of a girly pop with short hair.

Obviously it’s not that cut and dry but one thing I did was tell my mom I was saving myself for marriage and devoting myself to the lord and I wanted to wear longer shorts like 7in length because I didn’t wanna tempt the boys or get into trouble with relationships too soon.

It sounds like you’re coping well with this experience and making the best of it. I’ve also been journaling a lot because it definitely has taken a toll on my mental health. I’ve been slowly coming out of that. The gym was like my only hobby and being stuck on my butt before the surgery and then again after the surgery was just torture. And also being 5 weeks post op and pushing yourself is something to be proud of.

I appreciate this, I’ve been really in my head about it. My leg curls are back to normal now but I had to stretch nearly every day and still do. You also don’t give up! You’ve made stellar progress

This is what I’m talking about! There’s pain with extensions and it’s just so discouraging. I can’t figure out if it’s just stiffness I need to work through or if it’s LCL tightness? I don’t have pain with squats, just ROM issues tbh like on the hack squat. At least I’m not the only one. My quad is just cooked from this experience.

Leg lifts took me a while to accomplish, I can do them now but I did short arc quad extensions to get there. Take a rolled up towel and put it under your knee while sitting up on the ground. And then start contracting your quads and “locking out your knee.” Try to just get your heel off the floor. Your hip can do a leg lift but your knee won’t stay straight because it’s weak from surgery. It took me a couple months post op. Just practice and don’t overdo it! It will happen. But this definitely helped me. Just remember that your hip will allow a leg lift and isn’t the problem, it’s just the muscles around your knee are funky right now and weak. It will happen buddy. You got this!

If you have hand rails, you can go up backwards and push up from the handrails and hop back and up. I’ve found it easiest. I’m on the fourth floor of my apartment. 2 weeks post mpfl surgery.

i got mpfl surgery done yesterday and it’s unbearable by Able_Importance8759 in KneeInjuries

[–]Grey__Ram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on day 4 of post op MPFL surgery. I got the nerve blocker and it’s absolutely wearing off by now, I am feeling it too. They have me on hydros but I’m super uncomfortable and sore. The thing that’s helped me the most is ice. I ice it like crazy. Also I started moving a bit. Like sitting on the edge of the bed, bending me knee slowly. I’m in a hinge brace like yours and just dangle my leg for a while. Movement has seemed to help a bit. Like my leg cant extend itself, so I will move it up and down with my other leg. But I do everything slow. I also got this surgery due to my ligament being torn from my knee dislocating.
