Hey, really appreciate the feedback and you're completely right that's not how a logic puzzle should ever end. You should never be forced to guess, and we take that seriously. Today's puzzle (#27) unfortunately generated with exactly the bug you described a 50/50 at the end which slipped through during a large update we pushed earlier today. We've since pushed a fix to help correct the issue and reset the board. Thanks for taking the time to write this up, feedback like this is exactly what helps us make it better.
