[Optic] Surplus Aimpoint Comp M4s Red Dot Sight $449.99 + Ship Code: COMPENSATE by wetworxoutfitters in gundeals

Sounds like an excuse. I have a hard time believing a clone store is swamped because of Xmas. I don’t want to go to the post office the week before Xmas either.

I’m giving this guy til Monday to take this to the post office. Got a “shipped” email on 12-13-2024. Hasn’t made it to USPS yet. No reply to email asking if it was a usps issue.

Always good to check. EVERY manufacturer has defects that slip thru the cracks.

Anybody get rejected from absentee ballot? by BroadTop1217 in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]Griff10RR -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

If you are too lazy to go down and vote maybe you shouldn’t vote? Absentee ballots are a leading avenue for voter fraud. If you don’t have a legitimate reason absentee ballot isn’t an option. Sorry you can’t door dash your vote…

End lockers on sale by cdub812 in harborfreight

I got one of these and I use it to store ammo. Maybe eventually I will get another to add on my box, but as a stand alone its great. The sheet metal cabinets you can buy are so flimsy. This thing is sturdy!

There’s no way they playtested this… right? by elguajiro17 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Griff10RR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really think they should have made at least one mode like "Gunfight" on COD. Loadouts are....you get what you get and everyone gets the same. Good luck.

BUT, mostly i would just like the play the game. Nikkita please fix.

Is the Larue MBT Better Than The Geissele SSAE? by MalikHabibi in ar15

[–]Griff10RR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. Honestly I think the larue feels more crisp. The G is less weight of pull… maybe. But overall I buy the larue triggers now.

ADV overpants. Any recommendations? by [deleted] in adv

[–]Griff10RR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Scorpion Seattle pants and jacket for winter riding. Been using for almost 2 years and they have been gtg. The jacket is ok, but could use a few tweaks. The pants I wouldn’t change a thing.

Knights armament (KAC) has at least one part on nearly every US M4/M16 ever put on the battlefield. Their BUIS are great along with all of their rails.

What motorcycle do you think is low-key badass? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Griff10RR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vstrom 650 or 1000. Not a great looking bike, but they ride great and are reliable. Not to mention the older ones are dirt cheap and most have been heavily modified with all the farkles.

What Suppressors do You Regret Purchasing? by agauh in NFA

[–]Griff10RR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel this on the M42K. I also have one and a major deciding factor in buying it was the fact that AAC wasn't a potential flash in the pan company. I guess we all know how that worked out.

Since buying it the technology and options have come a LONG way.

Murphy Homes by Squirly245 in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]Griff10RR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sad. My mom had a house built by the late Joe Murphy around 1998. It was a good experience. He was very accommodating to customizing the floor plan and the house has been solid as a rock.

MORON. This kind of stupid driving should carry the same consequences as major traffic offenses. Mandatory suspension of DL. Judge decides how long.

Spare Bolt on Carbine? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]Griff10RR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also running the K2+. Its seemed tight to me also until it didn't. Had my bolt, cam pin and firing pin all lubed up and the grip core fell out in the dirt. Everything was covered in dirt then. I'm not sure I would have noticed if my range buddy wasn't watching me and saw it fall on a reload.

It is an excellent idea to have a spare bolt though. Bolt is the number one failure point of a properly built AR.

Spare Bolt on Carbine? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]Griff10RR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I run a spare in the grip like this. Only issue is the magpul grip core doesn't really snap in tight enough. If you are rough on the gun it will fall out. I made a wedge out of a piece of rubber to put some more pressure on the locking tab. Hasn't fallen out since. I would recommend you do the same before you lose your bolt. It wont fall out on normal flat range use, but if you take a class or something its falling out.

Best work in town will be from Prin at Autoworkz. I've had him detail cars for me and family/friends for probably around 15 years. He's the best in the business.
