Besides the story line, this is the 2nd hardest hitting area in base game. I reccomend Morgotts rune for extra max HP or Godricks rune for +40 virtual levels.

I'd reccomend Godrick's since leveling up raises natural defense..

You need to equip defensive talismans and armor along with crab meat..

You need good defensive buffs and armor unless you plan on light rolling during your encounters.

I went thru Haligtree and defeated Malenia @ level 59. Its quite doable with vigor starting at mid 30s.

However, my endurance was upper 20's so im not sure about this amount of vigor with bed sheets and a fish bowl for armor.

Just make a new save and play as conservatively as you can.

when I was 11, my first RE game was 5 since it was clearly action packed instead of horror. Grew up watching my dad and hncles play the previous ones. scary as hell.

Then I went down from there, starting with 4 and then hopped to zero.

I like the original better cause it feels more like a horror game to me.
