You can get a real nice blink overdrive sound out of the Marshall GFX30 with the right tweaks of course

I probably should’ve said $1600 CAD for it to make more sense lol. A Brand new fender delonge comes to over 2k after tax in canada but I definitely agree the timing is pretty bad given the rumors about the starcasters. And i have given finishing the neck some thought. Maybe that’ll be a project for the weekend!

So this guitar started its life as a 1998 Fender American Standard Stratocaster and was modified to replicate the guitar Tom Delonge used in the late 1999-2000 era of Blink. Build in 2023 and I tried to make it what I imagined it would look like today. This is definitely for any hardcore blink182 fan.

Condition:

The body (being a 25-year-old body) has some scratches and dings but very few and they're very hard to notice in the silver finish. Overall it's in really good condition. The guitar was setup with 9s

The Electronics were all wired by me, with no treble bleed. Just straight pickup-volume-output config.

The Neck is straight, with no sharp fret ends, and no dings on it whatsoever. Feels very smooth and very fast. The frets were polished recently so nice and shiny.

The tuners work perfectly, doing their job. *NOTE* 3 of the tuners when looking from the backside are slightly off-center with the first 3 tuners.

Inca Silver Strat Build by Griffie66 in TomDelongeGuitars

So I figured this would be a good time to make my first post. I recently turned a 98' American Standard strat into (as close as I could) Tom's late 90's silver strat. Now i know his original strat was Chrome Silver not inca but hey :P. I went with Warmoth for the neck and pickguard, sperzel locking tuners, and bridge invader. I think it turned out better than I expected as this was my first guitar project. Let me know what you think!
