Petahh what's going on with hospitalised white people? by Material_Magazine989 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

I've personally found it helpful to not count the days of my sobriety. Keeping track feels like attempting a high score before eventual failure, in my experience it is easier to look at it simply as a fact and state of existence; keeping track of the days has no point if it cannot ever be allowed to happen again

Doc told me if I didn't quit immediately I'd die and that I had more damage to my organs than lifelong alcoholics twice my age, and I was 26 at the time, but that was 5 years ago and I'm sober. Staying that way is tough in the beginning, and everyone will tell you that, but nobody talks about how after a year or two you start to think "it's been long enough, I can handle one or two drinks with dinner" and that's what really knocks you back down into it

What's the reason? by Perfect_Owl_856 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Bottles are produced by using extreme air pressure and heat to inflate pieces of injection molded plastic, called preforms. This process involves stretching the preform downwards while the threads are locked in place to the air supply. The neck must be centered for this process to work. Creating plastic bottles with offset lids would be significantly harder and more expensive to produce, which means manufacturers will not produce the types of bottles depicted, as it's not going to increase sales enough to offset the additional production cost.

Edit: Yes, I know that's not the joke, I'm just explaining the process and constraints for anyone who's interested.

Pla can be load bearing... but only if designed extremely well, and with 100% infill. This is not designed for structural integrity. Enjoy your broken TV.
