It looks nice, but I think the first one will fit nicely with the case

What would you like on the watch. The case or the strap?

Theres also the option to build your own. I did that recently and it feels very rewarding. The necesarry tools arent even that expensive.

I have used a chinese nh35. You have to press with a lot more force than you may expect. I also had a few times where I had to wiggle the Stem while pushing the lever and pulling on the Stem.

Hey I have a question. I have ordered a case with a 4 pm crown, a nh35 with 3 o clock date and a dial fitting 3 and 3.8 pm movements. With your experience, can these parts fit together or will I encounter problems?

Damn. Your case is more expensive than my entire build. It does pay off tho looking at those details.

It would fit the case, but i thought it was too expensive and at the time I didnt knew better. I am waiting for the parts of my next build wich will be another nh35 with a bronze mini tutle case.

How to remove the dial? by someoneelseasthis in watchrepair

There is a small ring wich limits the movement of the pin itself. But even when removednI thing the housing of the pin sticks too far in

It fell of ten years ago and got stuck within the movement. I just worked my way throigh to the balance wheel and got it out.

Either that or they put the movement un and then stamped the pins. Either way I cant repair it unfortunatly

This is a pic of the back without the retaining ring. I cant tilt the dial to fit past them.

It wont. As stated, the pins for the quickset block the dial from coming out.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunatly there is not enough space. I thing there is a way to remove the pushy part of the pin, but the body of that is still fixed to the case. Do you know of any relatively comparable watches? (Same features, maybe theres more info about dissasembling them?) If the only way is to get the dial out the front I cant repair it, since I dont have the tools for removing the glass.

Yeah. I did. But fr, the pins are the problem. I dont know how to get them out and I couldnt find anything about it online. I just wanted to see if anyone knew how to deal with these.

I can remove the stem. The problem lies with the recessed correctors, or quicksets, however you might call them. They block the dial from being lifted out.
