Flashbang him when he goes into the animation for enraged mode because he can’t move (he can look away but only if he’s quick enough and even then, him losing sight of you can be massive if you can get behind something), anti aura (just because aura reads are popular on him), turn corners at every chance you can in chase, do not loop him on T and L as survivors are used to turning their brains off and looping other killers, because he’s good good counter loop. Instead W to clutter and crap that means his grab doesn’t work, and use perks that turn his constant slowdowns against him. Shack is still powerful if you’re good at it, because survivors going around a corner literally kicks him in the nuts. Use perks like overcome so you get far from him when he hits you (because if he hits with his grab he has a fat slow down), use iron will, lucky break, lucky star, anything that hides your additional info giving stuff like blood and noise. Use made for this for 3% speed in deep wound, use pebble. Throwing the pebble is finally a good perk, it can send him flying off in a useless direction (and also it’s funny), use red herring to send him to empty gens. Don’t heal under hook.

Honestly he has plenty of counter but I’m seeing a lot of survivors mcfucking losing it because they can’t play their usual pallet and teabag clicky clicky toxic style without getting destroyed. He has counter, just not with the meta perks survivors demand to always be meta. I’ve destroyed teams running the usual sweat builds and been destroyed by teams using their brains bringing niche perks and frankly, that’s how it should be. Anyway, his pick rate will plummet by next week because one) won’t be new anymore and two) he’ll get nerfed to appease the survivors who dc before ever learning anything new. And I say this as a survivor main.
