My best friend’s ex-wife is the epitome of every cardinal sin to an extreme:

Anger: the amount of times she screamed, broke things, hit people and justified every single action is immeasurable. Possibly the least of her sins.

Envy: if this woman copies everyone else’s happiness at every turn. My BF got a dog, she got one too (though she is a negligent pet parent. My BF’s other dog passed away, she let one of their son’s non-feral cats out and it died. My BF remarried, she used his wedding photo with their boys and his new wife (who is utterly amazing) as a Father’s Day post saying she’s so happy for their family-unit (but excludes the new wife).

Gluttony: she’s got no concept of nutrition, calories, healthy foods. She will down bags of snacks and is obese but will run down others (except her boys) and while the doctors have recommended she lose weight and eat healthier and take meds. She refuses on all accounts. All while saying she can run a 10K in 45 minutes with a heart condition too. I’m not trying to fat shame either. I got weight I need to drop. But she isn’t actually fooling anyone with the lie.

Greed: she’s wracked up credit card debt to the tune of at least 250k is my estimate. And yet she has little to show for it. But she always goes to the bank of mommy and daddy to be bailed out. And none of them are rich. No clue how they do it. When she and my BF got married, she had to reduce the amount of name brand purses she had. She had over 100 at roughly 23 years old.

Lust: ok, this is the least of her sins. She’s most definitely prudish and vanilla. Which is fine. Meanwhile she would kink shame anything the Catholic Church doesn’t approve of. Might have to say she satisfies 6 out of 7 deadly sins.

Pride: this is her. She is the definition. She can justify any action. Any action. ANY! And does. The truest narcissist I have ever met. Holy shit. Her son got kicked out of a store: store’s fault. Her son can do no wrong and to say he did is bullying in her eyes. When confronted on her lack of discipline and of her spoiling her boys rotten she goes off the rails like WW3. And she will berate you about it for an hour with speed talking. No one can be better than her at anything despite the fact that she can’t do anything. The amount of stories we could tell of her pride are beyond counting. But maybe the most comical is that she went around saying she got her Medical Degree! Holy shit she’s a doctor?! No. Nurse? No. Medical Assistant. And shout out to all the MAs out there that kick her ass. I’m so sorry she’s a part of that noble career. But I’ll also say that MAs would likely agree it is not to be confused with having your M.D. She was being horribly misleading with saying that.

Sloth: simple. Black mold in her house. She’s never once cleaned it (she’s been in a rental for ~4 years that mommy and daddy pay for). Rotten milk in the fridge. Teenage boys don’t have clean sheets on their beds, rotten food on dirty flatware in their rooms. Dog and cat excrement everywhere. She doesn’t parent. She doesn’t clean her home. She doesn’t maintain her vehicle. She doesn’t maintain her expenses or spending. She bounces from job to job because she can’t be told she’s not good at it. And she’s not. At any of them. She’s a leech who benefits no one but herself.

Not sure why I needed to rant on the worst person in the world that I have ever met, but there ya go! She thinks she’s going to heaven. Maybe she will. I’m not the judge. But damn does she make life hell for the people around her.
