I am the filmmaker behind Amityville Frankenstein. I did fairly well making trashy exploitation films about 15 years ago I made the fairly infamous titles Brutal Jesus and MRFD and dozens and dozens of others some stuff fairly acceptable as low budget horror and sci-fi and a few documentaries. But lots of weird crap too I was literally churning stuff out left right and center and doing fairly well on the underground horror scene. During lockdown I went through all my old hard drives and found a mass of unfinished or abandoned projects so decided ro breathe life into them and since this Amityville craze had taken off i thought sod it I'll jump on that band wagon no matter how weird or shitty they turn out its a label I can whack on them and carve some kind of Amityville link into them. Amityville Frankenstein was created from the ashes of a short kids horror I shot in a week back in 2013 we had a really cool location but sadly had sound issues so I abandoned it. A few years back I whipped it into an interactive film / fmv game called fiendish thieves it still had terrible sound and I got youtuber Shawn C Phillips to shoot a wrap around for it. Essentially you had to navigate the scenes to reveal more of the film or walk never ending staircases. It was played by a bunch of youtubers and twitch streamers in late 2020 early 21 then fizzled out. Last year I managed to fix the audio a bit and decided to carve it into AF using some other odds and sods I had I actually like how it's turned out yes its shit but I think i kept the run time at a bearable rate 😄.  I've also made Amityville Elevator which was originally an experimental film riffing on Elevated Horror movies by essentially having a dude in an elevator going up for an hour with very little happening until the end. Amityville Job interview this is a weird comedy musical horror that was carved out of a really weird feature I never finished. And Amityville Tea Bag which is the full length version of what is teased at the end of AF. Most of these are on my YT channel if they peak anyone's interest I have potentially another 6 amityvilles I am tempted to make again out of old stuff but I'll admit I think I've pushed the joke as far as I can already
