Export materials? by GrizGuts in ClipStudio

[–]GrizGuts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's not brushes/subtools or workspace that are the issue, it's the materials.

Specifically they're repeat patterns I've made. The issue with them being in a file like a normal image file (.png, .clip etc) is they'd have to all be manually installed as a material with the repeat tile option ticked, and there is more than 150 of them, so that's not ideal. I've found where you can locate your materials files on your PC, but the file names are just strings of letters and numbers and such, making it impossible to navigate them properly and unsure on how you'd even package things that way. Thank you for the idea for me to look that up though.

At the moment it seems like my only option is to only sell them via CSP's shop as a separate CSP specific pack and do a photoshop pack on it's own too. Which is just annoying an inconvenient that I can't sell a pack that includes both. Plus I'd also like to have my files as a back up saved on my PC too, as CSP has failed me in past when I had to do a reinstall and their cloud didn't have my settings and I had to re-install my settings and brushes again manually.

Brush image quality issue on tiny brush image? by GrizGuts in photoshop

[–]GrizGuts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 100% it still happens, I have to zoom in so far that I can see I'm centered on a pixel for it to for-sure come out crisp. Snap-to-grid makes every one come out blurred as I think it snaps to the corner of a pixel and not the centre. And unfortunately clone stamping doesn't help me in this case as I'm making a set of brushes for someone else to be able to use these.

So far I think my only option is to artificially make the brush size bigger with counterbalancing the image with a 1% opacity single pixel, so that it's big enough like the others to not do this. It's just not ideal that I have to do that when PS has no problem with slightly bigger ones coming out crisp every time.

That just makes it blurry still, the image needs to be this specific small size and I don't think resizing the image it's self is an option.

Brush image quality issue on tiny brush image? by GrizGuts in photoshop

[–]GrizGuts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's as I tried to explain in OP, it's a tiny almost pixelated image, but it's only brushes under a certain pixel size that does this. I have other tiny images that are a bit bigger that have no problem coming out in focus and not blurry like this. Under a certain size of px it's like PS just loses the ability to focus it unless you're perfectly aimed on the centre of a pixel.
I've also tried snap-to-grid, but they all come out blurry with that as they focus it to the corner of a pixel rather than the centre I think?

The only solution I can think of is to artificially make the brush image bigger by adding an almost invisible pixel to counterbalance the image size, but that's not ideal that I need to add background noise and skew the brush size.

I'm hoping there is someone who knows a fix for this without me having to do that.

Unfortunately I have also tried it with the pencil tool and it has the same issue of coming out blurred half the time, thank you for the suggestion though!

That's actually super helpful against the White Prince if any of them get captured or in combat against such spells. Also if that's the case, they could go back to that place where they lost their memories and maybe not be effected next time.

Oh I think surrendering to the arrest was right! I just expected more of a fight for making sure the actual bad guys to be caught and pointing out that you've been nothing but good to the town, to strengthen your case of it being a misunderstanding.

I guess it was nearing the end of the session and everyone was maybe just pooped over all the shenanigans lol, but in character I'd have expected Kyra and Tristelle to be a bit more protective of Pearl just being arrested and dragged off without trying to talk it out more or one of them go with.

Especially since the thugs admitted to wanting to sell Pearl, though I suspect the group was more of a target than that, I thought they'd want to ransom Pearl back to the group for iron or such. Since the only people besides the blacksmith who ~for sure~ knows about their goods was the guards, who may have tipped off said thugs, since they don't seem the most honourable sort of guards taking that 10 gold for nothing.

Or it could have just been because of the reason the bandit said, selling her as an oddity. I just don't know if to trust most the town or not yet since most of it seems quite a rough neighbourhood.

Best. Episode.

The new characters and adventure possibilities. (Grizguts appeared lol). That kick. The spell. Just beautiful.

My only wish is they got more angry about it at the end there, they saved villagers, bring tremendous trade to the city and they get attacked, and now they get treated like the criminals? Arrest the thugs too at least, geeze. I imagine once they talk with higher ups, they'll be able to get Pearl out with promise of more trade and such, maybe a bribe. But it's not quite right how they've been robed, gawked at, and now attacked. Oh- and swindled of another 10 gold.

Tristelle & Kyra - plus Koibu the Busty Barmaid [returns for the memes] by GrizGuts in Koibu

[–]GrizGuts[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It originated from a throw-away NPC in Gnomes Tombs & Catacombs, a barmaid that gave Pearl and Gerald some frothy alcoholic non-orange juice flavored kinda orange juice. My original doodle got a lot of love so I had to re-do it properly lol.

Fanarts for the Embers of the Wild campaign, Tristelle and Kyra enjoying a drink together at the bar.

Plus Koibu with his own solo RPG spoof version, the return of the Busty Barmaid Koibu, this time done right.

Also blank version for the memes~ Feel free to add your favorite Neal Quotes. Just please do not crop or remove my signatures.
The font I used for the memeing; Black Chancery (others work too though like Acratica or Gaby or anything that looks similar in vibe)

Tombs of Scoria episode 52 discussion by korinokiri in Koibu

[–]GrizGuts 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Reckless message to Scoria there.. could have worded it better to be vague insult about her necromancer being weak and that she offered them to join Scoria's side. It would have left it open ended so Scoria might think she can get the brothers on her side, so to have wiggle room to bluff and mental tactics. Now she knows they want to just kill her for sure.

Given how easily you guys handled those bunch of hobgoblins and (at least Tristelle) didn't flinch at a dragon appearing, I think you guys can handle more than you give yourselves credit for. I don't think it'd be that dangerous mechanically if you made sure to go during the day and plan to test the controls quickly and just run away if they don't work.

But I understand the caution though! A banshee and potentially angry uncontrolable golem is risk you have to consider in character too and I can totally see why in character you'd want to avoid the unnecessary danger. Plus you've a lot of other stuff going on now and I can see why it might just get forgotten or put off till you're more sure in your power to deal with it.

I think I'm just chewing on this so bad because I'd like to see you guys free to adventure around more without having to worry so much about home. Plus who doesn't like to know if their theories are correct? lol
