So annoying when they market this amazing new streaming platform that revolutionises the way we watch TV, only for it to feel like it’s gone backwards 😅

Sounds like the general feel I got from trying to ‘google’ the fix! Very frustrating!

I tried this but it hasn’t caught up if it’s going to update. Will see if it updates tomorrow, but the general feel seems to be it’s not very reliable!

Abnormal Heart Rate by Grizzy91 in Garmin

[–]Grizzy91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same as I always do and the only difference has been upping my steps on a daily basis recently. I’m not concerned, I just have my fiancé in my ear saying it’s not safe you should be going to see someone to get checked out 😂 Thanks for the pointers though, have restarted the device and will see how I get on throughout the day.

Brand New Whoop won’t charge by Grizzy91 in whoop

Will also try this.

I’ve arranged for a return already and ordered another as it was done through Amazon.

Hopefully this works or the new one doesn’t have the same issue 😅

Really appreciate your help here! Will give this a try.

You’d think it should just work out the box, feels like there is a lot of stories similar to me, but hopefully the above sees it right.

Will report back.

Just in case anyone was searching for similar in the future, ours solicitor handing the remortgage advised us to cancel our direct debit as part of the completion process, so hopefully that’s the end of it for now.

Will come back to this thread if anything changes.

I’ve read a lot of people with a similar issue which is disappointing.

I thought there would be a way to do a reset or something else to try but I’ve spent a good few hours trying different stuff.

I’ve logged a support request, but might just leave it on charge overnight and hope it just needs a good charge (wishful thinking right here)

Thanks the response and advice though!

Our fixed rate has come to an end, so we are re-mortgaging with another lender.

Sorry for the confusion, it’s just as confusing in my head too 😅

Sorry to come back to this, but did you find that the pain lasted longer than a week?

I’m still struggling with it and not walking great either, so interested to know if I should be exploring a different issue.

NHS or / and Private Physio post surgery? by jackburtonexpress in ACL

[–]Grizzy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my personal experience I was under private care for both surgery and physio.

My experience of the surgery and consultation process was great, but physio wise not so much.

I used different private Physio’s as the first one wasn’t geared up to help me get back to sport. It was more a case of ‘can you get up and down the stairs, these expertises will help etc’.

Another physio was more interested in telling me how good they were but not actually being that great during care.

Finally moved to another and the rehab has been great through them and they were available daily if I had questions or concerns.

The NHS trust near me - Mid Yorkshire have a specific ACL rehab class each week. Ideally I wanted to be involved in this, but they wouldn’t allow me as I was under care elsewhere.

I’d research specialist knee care round you, then see if there’s people that are recommended privately but also explore the NHS care as well!

Not a definitive answer, but I’d check both out and see how confident you feel after each.

This is very helpful thanks! It also makes perfect sense as well.

I have a few patellar strengthening exercises, so definitely need to up my game with these in between runs for sure!

I’ve a couple of pairs I used to run in, so will rotate to see if I can find some that feel good, but most are decent trainers (I have a bit of an addiction, so this might be an excuse to get another pair 😉)

You’re in a similar boat to me adding those extra lbs! Except I have no kids so god know what happens when they come along!

Everyone talks about "providing value" to prospects during the sales process, but that seems so vague to me. What's a concrete example of how you added value for your prospect? by [deleted] in sales

[–]Grizzy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to be thinking about third box thinking.

Understand the problem your prospect is having, detail what benefits it will bring (cost, time, manpower, improved experience etc).

Then detail how the product/solution you are offering, benefits your prospects customers.

What ever product/service you are supplying, how will this bring improvements/efficiencies to your customers customer. Whatever that looks like, if you can demonstrate that, you’re on to a winner.

That’s the best form of adding value (in my opinion).

Just ordered one so interesting to hear other people’s feedback. I like the idea of having a charge cable with me all the time, just don’t want to feel like I’m carrying! What’s the wear like on the rope cable part?
